What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Fbg 6.7

Nighttime wildlife camera...
The fox is at it now...getting on that swing...
Fox on the swing - a very busy night on the swing...
1min 13secs

Creative...what can I say again? This did not turn out as I intended.
I thought I would draw it before I fell asleep last night...
I was pleased with my drawing ('Peter my darling' spell grammar changed that previous bit to), and then I was adding a bit more black bit when I yawned and dozed off still holding that iPad...
I woke up to find my finger had slipped and tapped of its own volition, and put in the colour fill of that blue sky. I like that I thought. So carried on working on it but the inevitable happened and I fell asleep.
I woke up this time to thinking where's my iPad?
It was under the cat (Midnight)...
So retrieved it. But battery was nearly running out, I leave it permanently on, so it doesn't go off by itself...
I was disappointed at what it had altered to, so put iPad away and went to sleep.

Opened iPad this morning, and I've changed my mind. I like it!
Who created this? We'll call this a happy accident!

These are some toadstools in my garden...

I drew this In SketchClubApp.

This grammar spellcheck (or whatever its official name is) is a nuisance for what it is altering things to. It even altered its own correctly spelt name to 'grandma'. If I tap on the word it has changed, it goes back to the word I had just typed....

Time for a cuppa...

Then...

An adventure calls...
Bye...
Expect some quick line sketches for tomorrow's creative...

Pop art?Lol
Groovy.

Good morning everyone on a pretty dull yet fully alive start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. A morning of chores lies ahead but as I am only riding shotgun I don’t need to know details - Wall’s have ice cream and all that. I made hot and sour chicken and mushroom soup for our dinner last night - there is some left over which will make a base for something else, but not tonight. The butcher has promised a nice cut of lamb for today so collecting that is my primary task. The French are having a go at banning the use of meaty words for vegan products as they say it’s confusing for the consumer - absolutely nothing to do with pressure from farmers. So what do we now call Burger végétarien? I bet there is no vegan version of Andouillette sausage - sensible. Anyhow - good luck with that when it ends up on some rubber stamp desk deep in the bowels of Brussels. Art bit - pier out to see. Quite small and a practice run for something that Mrs Miggins wants. Have a smashing day if you can. I need koffy and then a long run up to getting the bins organised for tomorrow.

There was when I was a youngster quite a few piers around my area, the ferry services, then the oil terminals, then the pleasure piers. Two were never alike. The latest don't have the same architectural designs that made them special.
Can't remember seeing that colour water around these isles.
Nice though.

Good morning all. No point testing this morning as I know my level will be raised. Today is mum's funeral and I have to admit to feeling more than a little anxious. I have done all I can. I now have to trust that all will go according to plan. We visited mum yesterday in the chapel of rest at the funeral parlor. She was dressed beautifully in a pink satin gown but didn't look like my dear mum. For the reception I have prepared albums of photographs and typed mine and other people's memories of mum as well as copies of the obituary in case anyone wants to look at them. She was loved by so many. I was blessed to have mum for so long. To stop myself from self pity I just think of all those poor people losing loved ones in war torn countries in the most terrible of conditions and pray for them every day. My best wishes to you all.
Big hug from me for the awful day and feelings you will go through today!
Words just aren't enough to comfort.
Memories of how your mum used to be, as I have a photo of mine on my wall, where I can see her and keep an eye on her.e
My best wishes and hugs.

6.9 again.
Mr & Mrs L went to doctors and found appointment cancelled.
As doctor away.I
No notifications or messages to the cancellation.
Fuming.
Booked another for a fortnight hence.
Livid.

My anxiety is teetering on breakdown again. Only being with Mrs L, stopped me having a fit of temper.
Angry.

Cooking to do.
BTW, veg burgers are not burgers, not even pattys. They are cow pats.
The non meat eaters should have their own words to describe the meat free food.
Meat products are named cos they have meat in them. Why call them after meat products when they are not?
I blame the food industry, once again ripping off the customer.

We have always known that talk tv was dumb, now it is muted. Not before time.
Don't mention ministers tax returns for money gained in the states.
Don't include the income tax reduction or threshold increases promised a couple of years ago.
Because it's another promise broken from the former chancellor.

Love the picture @dunelm.

What a lovely tribute to your mum @dogslife

Morning all. Spoiler alert for all those on the edge of their seats eagerly anticipating that Jeremy Hunt's huge 87p a week will enable them to invest in Bitcoin - you may be bitterly disappointed come the day's end. @dunelm enjoy the lamb and thanks for sharing the art. I like the blue of the sea but then I'm a rum cove. @Krystyna23040 great fbg and good news on the clothing repairs. Our dogs aren't keen on JKP's money saving idea of Lidl kibble even with an aspirational egg and cod liver oil capsule. Can dogs be too woke? Today may not be the day you would choose but embrace it with arms as wide open as you can manage. @JohnEGreen thoughts and prayers with you.
I am so pleased that my fbg is staying in the 5s at the moment @ianpspurs .

Thank you @Lamont D - yes, we are lucky to have our pier although it has sustained collision damage since it was built - it was 1250ft but now only 681ft. What was a theatre by the entrance is now a penny arcade.
