What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good morning all. My fbs today was another 7.4 following a blip of 9.9 yesterday but that was expected as we had been to support an event at the local church the day before which involved eating a hot dog for lunch, I know! But it was made with a good quality sausage cooked in the new kitchen. Off soon for my 2+ mile walk equipped with waterproof just in case of a predicted shower, forecast just before the end of the walking time. Best wishes to you all for the coming week. :)

5.8 this morning.
A very busy day ahead so I probably need a bit more rocket fuel (coffee) to get me through the day.

Good that we had a relaxing day yesterday. As we get older we need to spend a bit more time relaxing and recovering.
I am discovering the art of relaxing as well... It is very good @Krystyna23040

Just heard from APHA. They want me to send the unsolicited seeds to them for disposal, so that's what I'll do.
I am glad that worked out like that @Annb I'll tell you why... Some years ago I bought some seeds, wildflower seeds from poundland... Big mistake... When they came into flowering, they did not flower but looked like copies of some of our native plants... The picture on the seed packet was of all our wildflowers, but what grew turned out to be invasive species... One of them was jack by the hedge, but it was not jack by the hedge and grew very similar leaves and they were enormous. This was when I googled and I discovered it was an invasive species. I am still looking for them each year pulling them up and burning them. I feel like I will never get rid of them. There's another plant came from that seed packet and I'm searching for that each year, and I cannot touch it because I come up in a rash, and that is an invasive species as well.

So Poundland sold me and probably many other people dodgy packet of wildflower seeds...

I have never bought any more seeds nor plants from Poundland...

Hello again. Did 10308 steps on our walk including a walk about town and shopping afterwards. Resisted the temptation of biscuits on the return get together after the walk even though they included Jaffa cakes and custard creams! :angelic: Had a mushroom and cheese omelette for lunch. Now back at home for a much needed rest and a cup of black tea.Best wishes. :)

Excellent news on the steps and resisting the biscuits. Now rest, relax and feel proud - that type of pride is fine.
