What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

It started so well this morning.
7.0.
Did what I had to do this morning.
Mrs L was watching the television as I returned from shopping.
made a cuppa and started putting away, started dinner. (Lunch)
Heard a crash and a thud, then a scream.
Mrs L had fallen (again) and was paying on her back in the front room (lounge) I can in from the kitchen (kitchen) and found her in pain, how she missed the table or the couch or the other disability stuff there. Mrs L was picking something up, (I never asked) twisted, went dizzy and went down. (According to VAR) it was never a penalty and rightly awarded a yellow for simulation.
suffice to say, Mrs L picked herself up. I helped. And laid down on the couch. In pain.
I was e friendly worried and nearly pressed her emergency button. But Mrs L being Mrs L, told me not to. I am still uncertain. Will really keep an eye on her.
I have to tell you lot. That Mrs L came downstairs this morning and admitted that she was unaware of where she was, recognised me. But didn't have a clue of the house or the area and shops across the road. There was a twenty minutes questions and answers session about everything Mrs L couldn't remember. That was very difficult for me. As was the fall afterwards. I will admit I was traumatised.
Kitchen was a mess cos of the fall and me just dropping everything.
Chicken for tea, if Mrs L wants to eat.
Another day in paradise.
My best wishes to you lot as always.
Aaaaaaaaaggbggggghhhhhhhhhhh!

My little dog Meg, reflected in the wet sands...this was about 20 years ago. She looked very fox like on this particular day....

I am going to write this ©️ at the beginning of every post. I do now, and see if this stops the AI bots scraping data, and see if my viewing figures on the other site I post on return to normal... my viewing figures have been vastly inflated under the other site I post on.

NIght night...

The uploading is failing to work again, and I am linking to the other site.

Night night from me...

Smashing. I love the colours and the mood

Forgot to add, that my son has flown out to Spain this morning. No delays as the wind got stronger. Short holiday cos of his birthday Wednesday.
It has got windier and lots of rain since this afternoon.
Why isn't it a named storm?

Happy birthday for Wednesday to your son.

I hate predictive text sometimes. This should have read - that little Meg does look very much like a little fox @gennepher
I did wonder if that is what you really meant @Krystyna23040

I find it impossible nowadays to correct predictive text, because my text is correct when I actually press send, But the moment I press send it changes as it is sending...

I hope your son enjoys his birthday.

It's not strong enough winds to be a named storm. Not really storm force at all. Just a slightly stiff breeze in Hebridean terms.

The next page in my sketchbook...my Creative for today

The rain and wind was pretty bad today and the wind nearly blew me over at the shops a few times... I finally managed to pick up some owing medicines today, they've only just come in a month late, so I've done without one of my diabetic medicines this month. But it's absence doesn't seem to have made much difference to my Fbg...

Following on from yesterday with the AI scrapping, when I ran out of free data with ChatGPT, ChatGPT's next suggestion was to put the signature on the photograph of painting in an awkward place so that my picture/painting could not be cropped, at least not easily.

So I'm starting to do copyright signature on my paintings again, which I used to do. The awkward places suggested were either across the whole picture which spoils the picture., or an angle in the corner so that went over the actual picture, but I didn't like the suggestion either. The third suggestion ChatGPT made was to put your signature on an actual part of the painting so the painting could not be easily cropped without making a mess of the picture.... and so on this painting I've put my copyright signature across the dark part of the bottom of the trees.

There's nothing much else I can do for myself in this situation...

I have had my paintings passed off online as not my paintings before with the signature taken off... in particular there was a whole set of bleach paintings I did... and I should still have the originals somewhere and I may post them again but with this suggestion to try and stop AI scraping...

So good night from me. I hope you have happy dreams..

This site's uploading facility is still broken and not uploading, so I will have to give you a link to elsewhere for my painting...

And it is getting silly views again far too high views so the AI scraping is still going on... but they may not actually be able to use my picture now for their purposes...

Yes, I am finding that happens to me also @gennepher. It makes it impossible

6.4 at 05.45 today. 2 coffees, insulin, painkillers and it's 7.7 and rising.

Breakfast soon and we'll see what happens then. Since discovering that I seem to have issues with walnuts, as well as many other things, I decided to try walnut oil. Yuk! And so far, BG hasn't dropped like it did with actual walnuts. Just thinking, if I stop taking the one Metformin I am on each day, perhaps my internal problems will improve and I might be able to tolerate some of the things I am currently avoiding. Just called the Health Centre to ask the Diabetes nurse if she's OK with that, but she's busy and will call back (perhaps). Last time I saw her, she was going to ask the GP his opinion on stopping Metf. because she thought it was a good idea. Never heard any more about it.

Amazing! My PC is working better now. Neil fixed it. He put the wrist support back onto the keyboard. It had fallen off and I thought it just got in the way anyway, so left it off. Silly me!

Morning all from L.A. on a sunny(ish) morning here to celebrate 100 days to Christmas. Nearly but not quite time to put the sprouts on - I'll let you know when. No known fbg to share which will hardly diminish the stock of human joy one jot or tittle. @dunelm and @gennepher thank you for sharing your art each day. Everyone else. you've all done very well. Take care and run your own race the way the Great Coach lays out the plan not according to some influencer.

Thanks Ian....

7.0 again.
Doctors early morning. Increase in dosage for the duoloxitene. Seems I need it.
Dsn phoned as I got home. Trying to explain, I wanted to get back into normal range for fasting BG levels, and getting back to non diabetic was difficult as my last bloods were fine according to her.
From a hypoglycaemic, it is not find and should be lower than it actually is. Urine test was very good.
Go figure.....?
Mrs L was awake and downstairs as I got home, made her own breakfast and the carer was surprised. So was I.
However the where am I returned soon after. And the questions of why I was at the doctors was quite difficult to explain. I did avoid the, you are driving me out of my tree, reason. But I did say, my counselling would help with my anxiety and what I'm coping with.
More phone calls from mental health practitioner and doctors, then housing.
Can't find Mrs L 's purse. Mrs L can't remember....!
It will turn up....... Hopefully!
Best wishes.
I'm knackered again, Mrs L literally kicked me out of bed this morning, I bear the marks.

Good You are getting the help & advice needed..

A bit less so with the guestimates from the docs , though .

A positive Mrs L cooked breakfast, even if she relapsed slightly later on.

Best wishes finding the purse...
Sure to have been put away for 'safety'

Hope you get some time to relax & rest yourself..

And a cheeky chuckle at the Andy cap & Flo image you ended with...

I have had virtually no Internet all day...

I ended up going to a café which did Wi-Fi and doing some stuff there...

This connection keeps closing on me.... I had better post while I can...

My creative is the next page in my sketchbook, which is a pen and ink sketch of a tree...

Good night
Sweet dreams

Still no joy in uploading any photo or painting on this site, so I will have to give a link to where I have posted my picture elsewhere...

It is a low file size, because if I try to upload anything larger, my Internet connection can't cope, and so it's not a very clear ink drawing...

Smashing - the sketchbook posts - really love seeing these.

Good morning everyone on an overcast start here in the dark and dangerous north.
Hospital this morning.
Mrs Miggins has an X-ray and then a consult to see if her wrist is still in the correct place inside her shiny green pot.
Best get my chauffeur uniform brushed and polish the peak on my cap.
But first - koffy.
Hope your day includes rays of sunshine and hang on tight as we hurtle round the fusion reactor one more time.
