What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

B: 2 slices Heylo cinnamon bread
Exercise class
Iced coffee
L: 2 dolmades (made by a neighbour, very tasty) a medium avocado with some aubergine salad. A mini ice cream
D: cold beef burger, coleslaw, olives, lettuce
10pm cheese on m&s cracker. Real ice cream

We used to get lots of pheasant. It makes a good curry or risotto, or a fry-up with bacon pieces and a few mushrooms.. Glorious 12th and after you will get grouse, lucky you, which is so delicous on its own, maybe with a few pine nuts, no need to gussy it up with anything. Pheasant shooting season starts a lot later.

B kefir and keto granola before heading out to help a university friend celebrate her 70th birthday
L two courses at Cote restaurant starter whitebait (photo) main steak and salad (forgot photo too busy chatting)

D one small slice of hm LC bread toasted with a rarebit topping. Coffee and two squares of 90% chocolate to follow.

Usual brunch. Teatime 2 small slices pork pie with English mustard. Dinner was roast chicken with broccoli, cauliflower, French beans and runner beans, 1 glass red wine, 4squares Monte's

I didn’t realise the glorious 12 was just for grouse, but I’m glad - it gives us more time to finish all the pheasant in our freezer. I’ve made lots of curry with it, but your idea of a fry up with bacon and mushrooms sounds tasty and will definitely be on the menu soon.

Breakfast was some olives that needed eating up.
Packed lunch of LC protein roll filled with sliced beef&horseradish. Slice of LC lemon cake.
Dinner- Rose veal frying steak with garlic mushrooms and Tenderstem broccoli. 1/2 a LC chocolate muffin.

Can't remember exactly
Been very unsettled today (me, not the weather!)
Lunch was 1 slice heylo seedy bread with some mouldy cheese and a teaspoon coleslaw.
Refused a Cornetto when helping at oap club.
Dinner was peppers, onion and tomatoes cooked until soft then pork chops added until done. A quarter of hubby's roll I'd tarted up to be garlic bread. A mini ice cream

Then at pub for bookclub had a Hugo spritz which is elderflower liquor with Prosecco and soda and mint. Very nice but more carbs than I thought.
Been googling low carb cocktails ready for next time as sure I can do better

Breakfast kefir then low carb granola with soya milk after which I made some low carb Panda Flour rolls and bread as my supplies were low.

No breakfast, Wednesday is Aquafit and it wouldn’t be wise to eat first.
Lunch was a bacon & avocado protein roll then a rhubarb flapjack ( using @Shelley262’s recipe)
Dinner was ‘M&S Just 3 Ingredients’ meatballs( beef, S&P) from the frozen section. They are great. 2 spoonfuls tomato based sauce, courgetti and grated cheese. Haven’t had pud yet, possibly another flapjack or Montezuma’s. ( maybe both!)
