I'd be wary of the fruit for breakfast. Fruit usually has quite a lot of carbs and sugar, and many of us find the mornings worst for dealing with carbs. Do you test before and after breakfast?
Greek yoghurt, with added nuts or some berries if you like, or bacon and eggs are a good alternative for breakfast if you find the fruits spike you.

Forgot to take a picture but dinner was thick slices of celeriac baked in the oven with cheese on top for the last ten minutes, and air fried pork belly strips, eaten with my new tenant who seems to like my meals. :)
Thank you, yes I do test before I eat breakfast. I will bear that in mind and keep a track. Numbers are heading in the right direction and I feel a lot better but there is still room for improvement.

I'd recommend diet doctor as a great starting point especially for meal ideas and freshwell site
Lots more out there but these are great places to get started.

@DJC3 your pheasant looks good I was tempted by some partridge breasts earlier this week but this looks worth trying to keep it as moist as possible during cooking. Thank you.

Breakfast, Greek yogurt with berries and hemp hearts
Lunch last nights leftover grilled shrimp tacos,(lettuce wrap)
Dinner, at a garden dinner with winter friends. The host wanted to serve old fashioned hot dogs so I had my first ever boiled hotdog with chilli and cheese. I declined the bun and later the root beer float. It was surprisingly tasty although my insulin estimate was way short so had to have another dose a couple of hours later. Was a lovely evening with friends though so worth it.

Just black coffee this morning
Lunch was cheese with M&S super seedy crackers (0.1g carbs each) which are back in stock after disappearing for a couple of years. I’m very happy about this.
Dinner was baked fish (unprepossessingly named nurse hound also known as dogfish or rock salmon) with garlic greens and turmeric and ginger sauerkraut. More cheese and seedy crackers.

Oh rock salmon. The best fish in the sea. I wish we could get it here but the fishmonger told me it was now protected and can't be landed.

I used to love it from the chippy (in the days I used to frequent such establishments!) so I was really happy to see it today at the fishmonger’s stall at the local market. I’ll have to ask about it being protected next time I go, I wonder if it just applies in specific regions?
