What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Breakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries washed down with a black coffee.
Late morning: black coffee and a carb killa bar.
Skipped lunch.
Mid afternoon: black coffee and another carb killa bar.
Dinner: creamy garlic prawns with sliced sautéed courgettes.

Please share how you make your creamy garlic prawns - they look delish x
 
Today I ate 2 boiled eggs with M&S seedy crackers for breakfast.
All the family ( 9 people) round for lunch at 3pm. I slow roasted a boxeater joint from local ( beef) farm. Never had this but it was melt in the mouth deliciousness after 6hrs on low temp atop a bed of onions and carrots and covered with double layer of foil. Gravy made by liquidising the beef juices with the veg it cooked on top of. Cauli cheese, sprouts sauteed with bacon and greens cooked in garlic butter.
Made apple crumble for them and I had cheese with more seedy crackers for afters.

Breakfast - 3 egg & cheese omlette, washed down with half a peanut butter grenade bar and mug of earl grey

Dinner - half a roast chicken with garlic mayo and cheesey coleslaw on the side. Large glass of aldi's sugar free cola x and other half of peanut butter grenade bar
 
Coffee and unsweetened almond milk x 3
Cottage cheese and two cherry tomatoes
Ham and coleslaw ++
 
Usual brunch. Teatime 1 small piece of Sister Sarah goat cheese. Dinner sort of mediterranean thing of leftover beef, aubergine, leek, lemon and green tomatoes. Was delish! followed by 4 squares of Montezuma's.

@Annb thank you for the info on rock salmon, it’s a relief it wasn’t an illegal catch!
Today I had black coffee and tea all morning, then cheese and sauerkraut in a L/c roll for lunch followed by blueberries and yoghurt.
Dinner was a pork chop with sprouts and celeriac&tahini gratin ( which made a nice change from the usual celeriac dauphinoise). Ginger cake made with panda flour to follow. The fresh ginger grated into the glaze really gave a lovely powerful punch to it.
Can’t seem to post a photo again.
 
@DJC3 I always use fresh ginger in the inulin glaze too in the Panda Ginger cake gives it a lovely kick. Which reminds me I've not made one in a while - maybe next week it's a favourite.
Yesterday
Breakfast seeds mixed into a few spoons of Waitrose high protein natural yoghurt
Lunch while out in LC hm Panda Flour soft roll filled with cheese followed by hm LC Christmas Cake
Dinner meat balls in tomato sauce served with LC pasta followed by hm LC chocolate brownie.
 
B- couple of spoonfuls Gk yoghurt with seeds.
L- 2 tuna muffins, slice of L/c ginger cake ( @shelley262 my husband thought it was cheese grated on top when he saw it!!)
D- leftover beef from Sunday roast fried up with shallots, garlic,red peppers, green beans and spices. Served on a L/c pizza base in place of a flat bread. I should have spread some sour cream on it first.

My first day on low carb from keto -
Brunch - usual. Came back starving from physio session, and had 2!!! buttered crumpets. Dinner was grilled pork rashers with broccoli spears and a carrot! Let's see what the BG is like tomorrow. Time to eat my Montezuma's.
 
I won't say what I've eaten earlier today, but it involved a couple of sandwiches, a couple of biscuits, and a couple of Quality Streets (I was in the office). However, according to my biosensor, my beta cells behaved. And for tea I had a garlic chicken pie, with mushrooms and garden peas.

Dinner: bolognese with sliced sautéed courgettes, a sprinkle of grated extra mature cheddar and a few spots of sugar free ketchup.
