What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

I cooked for four days more or less, today at home, 3 on the bridge.
A meatloaf with lots of additional ingredients to make it last 4 days, and cabbage with cream cheese to last me 2 days. I'll likely have a salad or tomatos with mozzarella with my meat loaf for the second 2 days.

Thanks for all your good wishes everyone. It’s good to know the lack of gallbladder hasn’t affected your diet @Antje77
Today couldn’t face hospital breakfast, had 1/2 a ginger biscuit which helped a little with nausea.
At home lunchtime- a slice of L/c toast and marmite.
Still craving salt a couple of hours later so a chicken stock cube in hot water.
Dinner was 1/2 a ham and tomato sandwich in L/c bread. Followed by a spoon of Fage 0% fat yoghurt and blueberries.
Paracetamol at intervals during the day.
Taking it to the parallel thread: https://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/threads/what-have-you-eaten-parallel-chat.177870/post-2800393

Welcome! You will find lots of good meal ideas and tips here. I find that anything with barbecue sauce tends to be quite sweet and too carb heavy for me. It would definitely be worth looking at the label to check.

Breakfast- a bowl of h/m bone broth with an egg poached in it.
L- small plate of M&S tapas 3 for £8 range, few rollitos, turmeric cauliflower and marinated anchovies. Has anyone tried these anchovies? They are super - not fishy at all, marinated in white wine vinegar, and just 0.6g carb/100g
Dinner - ‘Southern fried’ chicken ( made with pork panko mixed with spices and herbs and oven baked) steamed tenderstem broccoli

Yesterday's fast seems to have helped my gut issues ( as well as coming off the med that was causing it!) So decided on a more nutritional approach today but with smallish portions.
Breakfast kefir then a new granola -it seems good as no sweetener at all as was adding a berry to my portion. Going to look at making a granola myself when have eaten this as it's just a few ingredients and 3g of carb per potion. For milk I tried a no sugar Almond milk which has 0g of carbs and really enjoyed it.

I fry the mushrooms first, remove them from the pan, make the omelette then when it’s nearly cooked I add back the mushrooms with the cheese.
