What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Breakfast - egg on LC toast
More baking here too, thanks to @shelley262 for sharing her rhubarb and ginger upside down cake recipe! I had a piece at around lunchtime so I thought but it was actually 18:15, no wonder I was hungry. It is lovely cake.
Dinner - as soon as I could get it ready once I realised the time - the other half of yesterday’s cottage pie with cabbage.

Breakfast: Honey Surreal with strawberries and coconut milk washed down with a black coffee.
Late morning: black coffee and a carb killa bar.
Skipped lunch.
Mid afternoon: black coffee and another carb killa bar.
Dinner: same as yesterday!

Cheese x 2

Philly and tomatoes. Too much.

Breakfast kefir then tomatoes roast in olive oil served on hm LC toast and topped with poached egg.
Made a batch of low carb sausage rolls using Panda suet pastry mix this morning ready for picnics and packed lunches.

Lunch salad leaves, spoon of hummus, radishes and celery and one of the low carb sausage rolls - still warm from oven, they smelt and tasted delicious. Followed by a few berries with a spoon of yoghurt and two squares of 90% chocolate.
Dinner Beef casserole - cooked all day in the slow cooker served with local asparagus roasted with a sprinkle of hm dehydrated lemon powder and olive oil. Followed by a warmed portion of hm LC lemon, ginger and rhubarb upside down cake served with spoon of yoghurt.
I've also been dehydrating blueberries today ready for some baking later this week once my new supplies of low carb flour arrive.
 
Early breakfast of a spoonful of choc chia pud.
M&S seedy cracker and almond butter for lunch then rhubarb &ginger L/C cake
Dinner was beef topside marinated overnight with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, shallots and herbs, then 4mins in the pressure cooker and leave alone for 1 hr. Served with l/c cabbage bake and steamed broccoli. Gravy made by liquidising the marinade/cooking juices.
Another bit of the ginger&Rhubarb cake.

Brunch - White Demi baguette type roll with Philly and 3 rashers of bacon

Snack while gardening - 2 sugar free choc chip cookies and a mini milk

Dinner - green Thai veg curry with jasmine rice, sugar free jelly for pud and some popcorn for a pick while watching the footie
 
2 coffees with cream. Usual brunch followed by a samosa. Teatime 2 small slices of pork pie with English mustard. Dinner was roast pork with cauliflower, green beans and broccoli, 1 glass red wine, 4 squares Monte's
 
Breakfast: lc toast and marmite.
L: salmon fillet with salads. Small piece of Panda rhubarb&gjnger cake.
D- Beef shawarma with mixed veg ( mushrooms, pepper and broccoli) followed by a DGF Crimbo Crumble. I found a box of these while trying to make some space for all the Panda Pantry bakes. A nice surprise.

Dinner: salmon fillets with roasted Mediterranean veggies and Peppercorn Sauce sauce.

Breakfast: my favourite at this time of year - scrambled egg with wild garlic. Low carb toast and kimchi.
Lunch- the last of Sunday’s cabbage bake, served cold like a frittata it was even better than fresh out of the oven.
Dinner- more leftovers, the last of the beef with green beans. DGF Crimbo Crumble

Breakfast kefir then keto granola with sugar free almond milk followed by a piece of hm LC toast with smooth almond butter
Lunch picnic hm LC ham roll and sausage roll followed by half a hm LC chocolate muffin
Dinner cheeseburger in hm LC roll served with salads and for pudding a few Herefordshire strawberries - they are very flavoursome - with a spoon of yoghurt.

Ps found a set of plates I took a fancy to in a charity shop - four porcelain dinner plates for a fiver - couldn't resist!

Do you just use the wild garlic leaves or the flowers as well? I've always been a bit nervous foraging wild garlic but have found a fairly secluded place with lots of wild garlic well away from roads and not in a dog walking\weeing area! I also forage only the higher up blackberries!

Oh yes! I avoid the ‘wee zone’ at all costs!! I only used the leaves today but I would use the flowers in salads. Yesterday I found mustard garlic which is also good in salads.
Ps I love your new plates.
