What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Very carby (for me) today. Usual brunch. Teatime 2 small slices pork pie with English mustard. Dinner was gammon steak with broccoli, mange-tout, cauliflower, and 2 Jersey Royal new potatoes, 1 glass red wine, followed by 4 squares Monte's. Jersey Royals don't taste like they used to, maybe because most of the farmers don't use seaweed for fertilizer, but are still pretty good.
Interesting thought on the taste of the potatoes.

No breakfast apart from coffee as I had my diabetic review today ( I intended to do a water fast but just couldn’t face a morning without coffee).
Brunch when I got home was m&S seedy crackers with almond butter. A bit later I had a pickled egg and some Montezuma’s AB with almonds.
Dinner was tofu marinated in sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger and chilli. Air fried until crispy and served with stir fried asparagus, pak Choi and red pepper. Rhubarb and ginger upside down cake.

Dinner was something I made up - an escalope of rose veal folded over a filling of shallots mushrooms and mozzarella. Pinned together with a cocktail stick and fried a couple if minutes each side. Served with garlicky cavolo nero. It was really tasty. A h/m L/c chocolate muffin.
