What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Substantial ham and eggs breakfast as I knew I’d be out most of the day.
Didn’t manage lunch but had a handful of almonds when I got in at 3:30
Dinner was ribeye steak with a big salad and turmeric&ginger sauerkraut, followed by Montezuma’s AB with almonds.
 
Breakfast: Chocolate Surreal with strawberries and coconut milk washed down with a black coffee.
Late morning: black coffee and a carb killa bar.
Skipped lunch.
Mid afternoon: black coffee and another carb killa bar.
Dinner: salmon fillets with PeppercornSauce sauce, runner beans and carrots, followed by keto kitchen coconut cake with a spoonful of Greek yoghurt.

B: 2 scrambled eggs Then yoghurt and cream with raspberries (last nights leftover pudding)
L: egg mayo and bacon , 2 slices cold lamb, a financial a small peach
D: 1 90% sausage with stir fry veg. 20g 85% choc. A small Scotch
 
Breakfast low carb granola with kefir then LC toast with two poached eggs.
Lunch smoked trout salad and some nuts.
Dinner salmon with peas followed by raspberries and cream.

Dinner: strawberry and halloumi salad with lemon and balsamic dressing.

Poached eggs on LC toast for breakfast.
Lunch was airfried aubergine slices topped with roast cherry toms and Parmesan. Chocolate(100%) and hazelnut square.
Dinner was cottage pie with cauli mash in place of spuds. LC rhubarb cake to follow.

B: greek yoghurt with milled seeds and a small peach
L: asparagus and feta quiche with salad. One scoop coffee ice cream
D: cheese and salami roll ups, olives, a fig, a small flat peach.
Whisky
 
Coffee and unsweetened almond milk x 1

Smoked Trout x 2
 
Brunch was a couple of spoonfuls of yesterday’s leftover mince with avocado. Made some LC cookies and ate a couple of those too.
Dinner was a bacon cheeseburger ( h/m LC roll) and salad. 4sq Montezuma’s AB.
 
0% Greek yoghurt and Keto granola for breakfast. I must stop eating this, it doesn’t keep me full and makes my BG rise.
Lunch was h/m mackerel pate on lc toast.
Dinner- pork and mushrooms in creamy mustard sauce, broccoli and sprouts. H/m KC almond cookies

Lunch hm LC roll filled with cheese salad
Dinner roast chicken salad followed by a few berries and cream
 
0% Greek yoghurt and Keto granola for breakfast. I must stop eating this, it doesn’t keep me full and makes my BG rise.
Have you considered switching to 10% Greek yoghurt to keep you full?

I had a wonderful onion soup with lots of grated cheese from a batch in the freezer on the bridge. I noticed earlier this week the soup tasted sweeter than usual, and indeed, it needed more insulin than my onion soup usually does.
Apparently not all onions are the same!

Have you considered switching to 10% Greek yoghurt to keep you full?

I had a wonderful onion soup with lots of grated cheese from a batch in the freezer on the bridge. I noticed earlier this week the soup tasted sweeter than usual, and indeed, it needed more insulin than my onion soup usually does.
Apparently not all onions are the same!

Yes, I prefer it, but sadly it makes no difference. I just need to stick to eggs in the morning if I have breakfast and stop trying to kid myself!
Your onion soup sounds tasty. I tend to use shallots more than onions these days ever since I discovered they’re lower carb.
 
Breakfast was 90 second mug bread made into a ham and cheese toastie.
Lunch was another ham and cheese sandwich ( not toasted). 1/2 a LC hot cross bun.
Dinner, a small steak and large mixed salad. Montezuma’s AB

Dinner LC wrap with a filling of chilli chicken and veggies followed by a piece of hm LC lemon cake
