"A new you in 42"

Been the gym. Used DP which meant I ended up doing about an hour cardio to get sugars down before doing weights. Bloody knackered. Still can't face running on treadmill. I really don't like the sensation of everything wobbling and me glasses bouncing. I feel all out of control.

running was the only thing i liked at the gym, i found it too easy to hit the showers once i was alone (without my pt) on the up side david lloyds restaurant served low carb food

I went mad and cleaned the glass on the front door too. There's a world out there. Who knew that?

Two separate 60 minute walks today (not too strenuous) in rural Wales. Will order rowing machine next week (pre-planned, not a direct result of this thread!).

1 hour walk with the dog - either I was walking faster then I thought or I am very unfit! I was on the phone and the person I was talking to said "where are you walking to you sound very out of breath". also done 30 minutes hoovering. I have a headache so going to leave the cross trainer for today.

I was going to mow the grass as part of the 42 day plan, but while I was at work today my ex popped round and mowed it for me. It took him 3 hours :wideyed: Can I claim this 3 hours of activity as my own on a technicality? Quick, Jamrox, check the small print in the rules! :jimlad:

cool :) I'm investing in some padded underwear tomorrow and maybe a hat if i pluck up the courage to try out the shoes that lock into the pedals, i know ill be laying next to every traffic light looking like a numpty, do you use them? is it inevitable that ill fall over with the bike still between my legs? its reaching phobia proportions
Lol,
Yes, I had to go through the pain and humiliation of the shoes! Only fell over a couple of times - the worst is trying to get out of them on a hill! Actually really great once you get used to them so worth the trouble.
You know there are TeamBG shorts and jersey? The short pads are very good quality too.
Where are you going on your next ride? You got some good local routes?

ill have a look at the site, its better for me to use money rather than cards though (they are maxed lol) dunno, id like to go to and from work each day (sunny days) 14 miles each way but i may have to build up to it, i had to google "how to change gears" today half way up a hill lol, couldnt figure it out believe it or not (thankyou yahoo answers lol) we have lots of country lanes near work so i may try some out if the weather permits tomorow (no traffic lights) but i am real sore lol, im slightly worried about getting naked at the hospital next wednesday (camera into bladder ewww) with red raw gonads but i figure ill explain so i dont get admitted lol

A brisk 40 minutes walk at lunchtime again. It gets me out of the office and puts some air in my asthmatic lungs so it's good for me in multiple wys.

.....my walk back from work instead of bussing it was forty minutes too, started pouring halfway and got drenched, the skies saw me coming but hey it made me walk faster to get home quicker.....;)

Ours used to be like that. Now mr ethyl has stopped farming the lawn has been mowed more times in last couple of weeks than in last 27 years.

Just back from a 25 minute jaunt. One and a half times round a slightly bigger circuit. It is lovely and sunny and I can feel the vitamin D seeping into me

I wore trainers today so had more of a spring in my step. Also caught myself smiling today lol Earplugs firmly in, music blasting in my ears so that if any bams shout at me I can't hear them:headphone::p hehe

Only 5 minutes left to do today for the 30 minute minimum - should polish that off which a quick Hey Ya! in my nightie later (Outkast)[/
