Not eating is not the answer.
Our bodies are extremely clever at maintaining their status quo; which for you is a very high blood score. You may have read about liver dumps? If not, do a search on here or Google for it.
If you are not eating, your body will try to protect you by dumping glucose into your system. It will to maintain the levels you were at before. So, by not eating, you are, to an extent, encouraging higher levels. By eating sensibly; both interms of regularity and food content, your body can be persuaded to lower its levels, over time. You might get carb flu. You might be hungry, but these things pass. If you insist on this stop/start eating regime, you are, in my view, encouraging your body to keep going on this rollercoaster. I'm not suggesting for a moment this is deliberate, but I think there is an element of that going on.
What do you mean by 'an element'?
Part of the problem

So part of the problem is that I am getting high BG on purpose? I think not.
I know I need to eat more, I think by not eating this week has caused me to find it difficult to eat. The thought of food makes me feel sick. I am not not eating on purpose and I will eat. I am getting stomach pains so I know my body needs food. It's just facing food that's the problem.
Yes, it does appear harsh.
Thats all i'd like on my tombstone" he did his best"Reality is harsh, yes. Maybe even harder for someone like me. I am trying my best and maybe my best is just not good enough.
Scottie, what old films do you like?I am not going to cry. But I blooming well feel like it.

Balance is key here Scottie... I believe that Andbreathe is trying to highlight that extremes just throw our bodies reactions even more skew whiff.
Scottie, could you find your way to eating a nice home made fishcake and a good salad?
I personally find it very difficult to eat more than one meal a day and even that is a salad.... With some fruit, walnuts and 2 sq dark choc afterwards.
I still have people telling me to eat more etc but I also ensure I take vitamins and I am a type 1 so find it easier than a type 2...
Balance on a daily basis is key... We have to eat enough to balance the internal organs that we can't see.
We are only concerned that you are struggling...
