Covid jab yesterday morning (sons best friend from primary school did it),
In bed by 7.30 last night feeling really rough
Managed to sand & paint 4 chairs though
Might be another rest day today, still not feeling great

COVID jab is pretty nasty .. hope you're OK?
Busy weekend ... wisdom tooth on other side of my mouth caused a molar to crack open LOL
A big chunk of it fell off like an iceberg from an ice shelf.
Must've been cracked for a while .. have an infection. Everything tastes horrible, on antibiotics. Root canal procedure on the way!

Hope you're feeling better today and that work isn't too busy.

Hope the antibiotics have kicked in, don’t think there’s anything worse than having tooth ache, good job we’re not still in lockdown & you can actually see a dentist
Blood sugar up until lunchtime yesterday (ended up doubling medication) as worried it wasn’t going down
It then very quickly went back down to low 5’s & has behaved since then
Can only think the diet tonic at the pub with Sunday lunch wasn’t diet
Libre is still predicting alc of 42
Peleton again later

Glad you got you BG levels under control. That is so tough, much harder to achieve with repeatable consistency when you don't know how much insulin the drugs are going to cause to be produced. Looks like you got the dose just right.. Good going!
Hope work is not too hectic!

Thankfully no real pain from the tooth .. not yet anyway. Could really do with getting this sorted quickly though!

Good luck with consultant call tomorrow mate.
See if you can get consultant to recommend what tests and monitoring your kids should get. He can maybe write a letter to their GPs to ensure they get the MODY genetic testing and annual A1Cs? Or get the GPs to refer them to him?
Dentist appointment is sorted but it is a long way away. No pain just now thankfully.
Work is busy today but want to squeeze in a walk at lunchtime and a workout this evening.
That Peleton ride sounds awesome! Plus 100 squats! Great going!

Really quiet without boss, couldn’t work on my own all the time
On the plus side I can listen to my choice of music & seem to get lots more work done & finishing at 4.30 every day to go on peleton

FBG still in the 5’s brilliant
Tough workout, especially with 2x16kg dumbells
Stressed yesterday morning so just kept swimming until the pool got busy, then went into the gym for the squats
Went out on mountain bike last night (1st time I’ve ridden it in years) felt weird after the peloton (reach didn’t feel right)
Might look at getting a road bike
Consultant appointment:
In range 92% of the time so star patient, better than expected
Got to keep doing what I’m doing
Being changed to libre 2 for the alarms
Sending me a letter which kids can show to their gp’s to get some blood tests
Have a lovely day it’s very nearly the weekend

Oh that is great news! You're doing a great job.
Good to have a proper consultant specialises in diabetes looking after you. I bet he was not impressed by the kids' GPs eh?
I must get my mountain bike out!

I had a phone interview with my GP yesterday morning. He's a really good guy, always listens and tries to help. It is weird being back at the same GP surgery that I was at when a kid, different GPs but the same ethos. Really good, caring people. He is reducing my statin dose by half to try and reduce the side effects and we'll check my bloods in 6 months. Still feels odd being on meds but hey they are good for me long term along with diet and exercise.

Have a great weekend. If the sun comes out I'll be painting sheds and fences!
