Didn’t leave work till 8 last night so didn’t cook
Hopefully quick ride on peleton later

Steps: ~6,000

Workout:
4 times around the circuit below:
  • 5 chin ups
  • 25 Mike Tyson push ups
  • 25 surfer squats R, 25 surfer squats L
  • 3 x 10 hanging leg raises
Never tried Mike Tyson push ups before .. by the 4th set of 25 it was really hard work! Really enjoyable workout.

  • 2 mins alternating shoulder press with pair of 16 kg kettlebells

Good to have an easier load day. Can't go full on every time unless you keep the volume really low. I didn't do any bodyweight stuff yesterday as it just uses so much more energy. Good to have a break. Dull grey day here. Hope you have a nice day up where you are. Laters :)

Good workout, nice & short, takes ages at the gym as have 90 seconds rest between each set, longer if the weights really heavy
B/s seems so much better eating more in the day & having a light dinner, didn’t leave work till 7pm again as so busy, beautiful bright sunshine all day yesterday
Having a rest day today so can go to the gym before work tomorrow & go out on bike Saturday & Sunday

Great workout and great FBGs!! You've really got things sorted in terms of exercise, nutrition and timing! That is great, takes time to play around with all the factors and find what works best for you.

Which chocolate casein product are you using? Sounds nice.

OMG 29 .. fantastic. I'll be happy when my daughter's that age and settled in life.. a lot less to worry about. Congratulations to her and to you too! I'll be taking mine to her friends roller disco birthday party tonight (seems to be the thing at her school these days). Hopefully there will be no dramas to deal with LOL

Yes I've decided to try taking on some more carbs just to fuel the daily workouts, see what it does to the FBGs .. seems OK so far .. and I feel less tired in the evenings. Statins are causing some muscles soreness today though in the biceps tendons. I'm hoping that'll calm down again soon. But it is not the end of the world :)

Hope daughter enjoyed roller disco last night, I can remember going when I was her age, even used to skate there & back home again
Sorry you’ve still got muscle soreness from the statins, hopefully it’ll soon ease off
Seem to have eaten a lot last night, but it was over a few hours, didn’t want to be the odd one out, did decline cake though (only just)
Going to fetch bikes today, the sun is shining, but 20mph winds
