Rest day, actually a sick day.
I can't recall the last time that I felt ill, but many years ago certainly.
I gave up trying to move after lunch, achy joints, headache, 102C


Breakfast (6.30am): Porridge (almond milk). blackberries, blueberries, walnuts {270 Cal / 37.0g Carbs}

Lunch (12pm): Tomato & lentil soup, toast with hummus {241 Cal / 30.7g Carbs}
Peach, raspberries, yoghurt, pecans {128 Cal / 11.5g Carbs}

Dinner (7pm): Wife bought fish & chips, I picked at it so values are a guess
Cod bites & chips {627 Cal / 52.3g Carbs}

5 cups of coffee (4 of them decaf)

Calories 1308
Carbs 138.1g
Protein 46.7g
Fat 56.1g (Sat Fat 18.3g / Trans fats 0.1g)

Had laser surgery on other eye yesterday afternoon, at work but taking it easy this week

How're things with the eyes? Ophthalmic surgeon said anything? Hope you're doing ok. Your sugars are great these days!

Feeling ok today
Got to go back in 6 weeks
Consultant said once you’ve been diabetic for 20 years you’re going to get problems
Still waiting to see endo, think it’ll be a while, still can’t get results of blood tests from 11 May, despite keep ringing

Breakfast - Avocado seasoned and a handful of salted peanuts
Lunch - Chicken thighs with salad, linseeds and olive oil dressing
Dinner - Bacon with lettuce
No snacks just wasn't hungry and ate later in evening
Lots of water and green tea. Have cut my normal tea down to 3 cups a day
Exercise
40 mins spin bike
15 sit ups
15 wall press ups
15 glute bridges
10 bicep curls on each arm (starting to increase weights finally)!
10 butterfly stretches
15 mins yoga stretches

Don't worry too much mate. We have all taken some damage but a lot of it can be improved, especially with your excellent regimen and a little help from modern medicine. I know I've probably given my body a bit of a battering, but I can also feel the improvements the last few years have brought. Shocking that you haven't gotten your results or appointment with endo yet though. Fingers crossed for you for both of those.
