Not sure of how much green tea I have had today, but it's been quit a lot
Exercise
2 hours walking the dogs, broken up into one session of 90 minutes, then half an hour after dinner.
Verdict after day 42
Once again, exercise is the key. I have walked for a good 2 hours today, and my BG's are back to how I like them. Exercise also just makes me feel so much better.
Today has been a great day, out in the fresh air, watching the dogs running all over the park playing. we even walked down to the lake, I have NEVER been able to walk that far, and there was swans and cygnets, it was wonderful. As we walked a bit further along, ducks and ducklings - magic. We had to put the dogs on the lead by the lake as one of my boys decided the babies looked fun, but mommy and daddy swan were getting very ruffled feathers, and as I didn't want them upset we put them on the lead until the swans were out of sight, then let them run again. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant day.
Confessions after week 6
Yep. Friday I made some almond cake and low carb bread. I had to have a taste, so had 1/8 of the cake, and a tiny slither of bread. The family ate the cake, that was a howling success, even though it was low carb. I LOVED the bread, every one else hated it, so it's now in the freezer, away from temptation.
Wow, week 6 is now done. Two weeks to go! Weigh in tomorrow.
As from tomorrow I am cutting down my testing. I will do my FBG and all +2 readings, but am not doing a pre meal reading, as I'm really not sure I need to anymore. So less holes in my poor fingers. :clap:
