Oh it's brilliant!!!!! It's only my chest muscles!!!!! I had crushing/squeezing chest pains so I spent most of Thursday in 2 hospitals having blood tests at three different times and 6 ECGs and a chest X-Ray. My heart is fine, it's only my chest muscles. The doctor thinks I hurt them walking briskly uphill that morning and I need to be careful if I walk up a slope while they are healing. While hubby was there I asked the A & E doc if I was OK to walk briskly/jog/run and he said yes definitely and I can ask my GP if I can give up taking warfarin too.. I'm so happy!!!!:D
Oh heck Zand!
Hope you're feeling better!
Good news about warfarin! :D

@Bebo321 well done on your long bike ride yesterday, I think its brilliant :D

.....it was only ten minutes on my son's one yesterday lol, was just getting a taste of it, still looking as keep changing my mind which sort I want..

....did 30 mins of my walk at lunchtime then bumped into a friend, so that was it...going to do some twistboarding and skipping [always have to laugh when I type that as makes me feel about six!!!] this evening to bring me at least up to target today...:p

Went for a quick stroll to the local Tescos today for 4 pints of milk for the kids. I think I need danger money! There I was boogying away to Tina turner strutting her stuff and some nutter on a bike nearly cleaned me out on the pavement. I think it was @andy 1234 because I threatened to join forces with @Pipp and take his lunch money!

GOOD! Zand That really is brilliant, but please take it carefully. You are doing so well.

I'm now in an Ibis hotel in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. Impressed so far, much more developed than Liberia or Sierra Leone. Internet OK on IPad but work computer is getting stressed so can't send any pics yet. Hopefully better when on private site tomorrow evening.

Not much exercise today although I suppose even 15 minutes tramping around Brussels airport counts. Pleased that for the first time in ages on a plane I had to tighten the seatbelt rather than loosen it (OK I know it depends on two was last in it but let me have my minute of smugness ).

Was very good and only had water on the plane together with a decent fish and veg lunch (left out the rice and bread roll of course).

Thanks so much again for your support! I was thinking of you all on the way around!
@Andy12345 we missed you!, but hope you're beginning to feel better now. We'll keep you posted with dates for the next ride!

We did it guys!

Thank you so much for all of your support!
I've just been catching up with you all, so sorry for the plethora of sudden activity. Great to see you've all been getting on well - hope @zand and @Pipp begin to feel a little better soon. I can't even imagine how frustrating it must be to feel so sore that you don't want to move.:( I wish I could give you both a transfusion of some of my energy stores.
Great to hear @Pollylocks has had a sneaky bike ride! @Jamrox isn't it time we got you off a fixed bike and out into the sunshine? Talking of sunshine - hope @julifriend is feeling a little less sore today.
Brilliant to hear everyone else is cracking on too!
Yesterday's ride was fantastic! We did about 52km at a very easy pace - which meant no-one was struggling to keep up. Plenty of opportunities to chat along the way and the weather was just about perfect - warm with just a little cloud cover. Thankfully my legs are just a little tired today - but only in a 'good' way.
You can have a little read of how we got on on the TeamBG website, and here's a compilation pic of a few of us (I'm in red in the bottom left photo)

Let me just get this right. @Scandichic is the teacher, who is giving us kids a hard time, and she hasn't yet sussed that it will most likely be @Andy12345 and @Pipp who will be joining forces, just to give her something to think about before the holidays.

By the way miss, it wasn't me. You must remember, I am the one who grasses on the other kids.

If you are dancing with the captain remember to pack your best posh nightie @Jamrox

@Jamrox Have a lovely holiday! We will all work hard here while you are away (I'm sure we will, really we will)....:)

10 mins on bike, 10 mins toning exercises, 20 minutes ironing.. Not sure I can so more today as feel rough after last night's disturbed sleep and today appears to be the fortnightly Metformin gippy belly day. Think of the weight loss. If nowt else!!

20 mins walk and more than 20 mins ironing...Aaaargghhh this was not my plan for Sporty Forty.....but at least it's a plan.

Today I have worked in the morning , packed , unpacked because it was to heavy , packed again .Had nails done etc etc. Now going out for tea. Will need to fit walk in later ...promise lol
