I have a mouth ulcer on the tip of my tongue! Makes eating very sore. Still - there's always slurpy things. *goes off to think of slurpy meals*

Morning all, not much to say, better blood sugar overnight than the previous night, no correction needed.

Going to try and dodge the rain, while getting a reasonable bit of sun this morning, then do more work like stuff this afternoon. It's just habit, afternoons are usually sunnier, and warmer here, so I should do it the other way round, but it's habit.

Busy weekend on the thread, only taken me an hour to catch up on whats been going on! But looks like every ones had an interesting weekend.

Cat is having (hopefully) final check up at the Vets today - he's completely back to normal now - only blood tests will tell though for sure.

Bgs have been 'weekendish' - saturday was good but yesterday was good up until the afternoon then tea/dinner/supper time went out the window but correction before bed and I was able to wear the shared '5' badge.

Blimey, a lot to catch up on after a weekend away, with only a dip into this thread during a quiet moment.

Been with friends in Evesham, they had a house gig, and then we went to the Battle of Evesham re-enactment festival yesterday. I’d forgotten to pack my Fitbit charging cable, so didn’t have any alarms on my watch for most of it :banghead: had to keep checking my phone for my levels, but was so absorbed in what I was doing I mostly didn’t. Was still quite impressed that despite unfamiliar, carbs-guessed food (including a mahoosive bowl of crisps), and a LOT of wine, Elvis kept me 92% in range. A couple of small, quick spikes but nothing above 7.5mmol. I’m so impressed with it. Feel free to have a nose at my photos and videos :) https://www.facebook.com/599159082/posts/10157555296929083?s=599159082&sfns=mo

Husbeast is off work on leave for a couple of weeks now, but has had to go in today for some union stuff - he’s the disability and equalities rep for South Wales and there’s a bit of an emergency, apparently. Hey ho.

May have been a good idea for you to go along as well - as a first aid responder!

Good morning y'all
Woohoo my new MM arrived on Friday. So back to alarms (when needed) and just a glimps to my watch instead of that pesky scanning melarky :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:
Hooray for you. How long did it take for the MM to arrive? I'm still waiting. It's been 3 weeks. :(

I sent it back 3 weeks ago and have been on FB messenger EVERY day pushing them along. It took 7 days from the time I got the tracking info... My first one came in 14 days, that was back in September last year

Sending a get well hug, as ulcers in the mouth can be so sore :inpain:

I had a nice busy morning, picked up my scripts from Boots and thank goodness the Ropinirole was there :happy:Went to get lunch ready and there was a knock at the door, it was one of the school escort driver's with his dog, he had been to the cemetery to lay flowers on his son's grave and he thought he would pop round. It was such a surprise, so I made him and my self a coffee and we had a nice chat.
This afternoon I went out for nice walk, 1 1/4 hours and soon as I got home made a nice cup of tea, when the sun is out it is very hot, but it's clouding over now and quite close and sticky.

That sounds like a really lovely day!

I am having a lazy afternoon because the morning was brain-shatteringly complex. Still - done's done, and I move onto other tasks tomorrow.

Basically I just want to go to sleep!

That wanting to sleep thing made me check my blood but I'm holding steady at 5.7 so it's not that. I guess I'm just tired. That is bad - it is only Monday!

Oh that's a gorgeous pic! So cuddly :)

Had a lovely peaceful day so far but not as nice as Robinredbreast’s, part of it’s been spent getting stuff ready for the heavy part of the part time job and failing to find a couple of things I need. But hey ho, the sun’s shining and a herd of sparrows have been grabbing food from more of the Virginia Creeper that I’m pulling down from the back of the outhouse. Finding lots of lovely things that it’s smothered. It’s a colonising thug!
I see Miaomiao 2’s probably going to be available later this month. Will be a big birthday present from me to me I’ve been following the info on this site and elsewhere.
Great you’ve got your replacement @porl69.

Just had a trawl through the News and I wish I hadn’t. There’s an item about the American T1 who’s died. It may be a case of imperfect reporter knowledge but his death’s been linked to the high cost of analogue insulin there and the way the cheap Walmart humankind insulin functions. He didn’t have insurance. Here, someone like Mel could have come as a responder and given aid then taken him to further aid before it was too late.
Definitely getting a miaomiao before Trump has any chance of getting his hands on the nhs.

The MM1 is going pretty cheaply at the moment. And with the soon coming firmware update will be the same as the MM2, well apart from looks
