I've been awake an hour.Hope all is going well @ickihun, Ron's not had such a good one. The constant pain and muscle weakness is causing him to have less and less sleep. Tonight not sure what brought it on but he's had to use his G.T.N. spray . He's also been having random nose bleeds. Also all day he's had what he calls brain fog symptom. Ron's now in bed not sure how long that will last. Hope you all had a good bank holiday weekend.
Thought I should catch up like I hinted earlier.
I feel more positive about my back, even though he told me I won't get back to where I was before (strong as an ox) he seemed encouraging and feels diabetes is causing alot of my weakness and effect on my body.
He is going to help me strengthen my back, hips/pelvis and legs. I was very wobbly.
He told me it could be alot worse. I told him about swelling in legs and fingers/arms on dihydrocodeine and he was surprised not from pregabalin rather than that. I told him it's settling down the longer I'm on dihydrocodeine.
He wants to get me off/reduce painkillers.
I told him I want to get rid of crutch/stick. He said.. "not yet" or "We'll see". One or the other. I cannot remember word for word.
I'm feeling much more confident with him than other 2 physiotherapist.

Ron may have to do what I've been advised. Pace myself. Spoons theory?
Although, mind you senior physio didn't mention fibromyalgia so I didn't either. Not diagnosed anyway.
I'm feeling very upbeat about swimming again. We are there as a family on Friday and hopefully next week twice too.
I love swimming.
He feels swimming is my key to strengthening my body again.

I so miss the freedom in the water.
His advice was to keep on my diabetes to keep me from deteriorating.
I never knew diabetes could cause this. Never!
I now dream of no crutch/stick.

As soon as I have some free money I'm going to go back to r-ala supplements. It was very very useful.
I feel supported..... for a change.
I will thank GP when I see him next.
Throat infection hanging around me and my right ear too.
