- I have Asperger Syndrome which is an autism spectrum condition and a full diagnosis of Adult ADHD which are characterised by impairments in social communication, social interaction and social imagination. I also have a rigid and somewhat unpredictable routine. I also experience obsessive rituals, some a bit overwhelming. But I have a talent in articulate creative writing skills and possess a photographic rote memory. I have sensory sensitivity and get upset by loud noises, bright colours or lights, and notice the texture and consistency of certain foods more making my dietary choices extremely limited or restricted to certain food components. I dislike conflict and lies. The Adult ADHD also makes me very moody and cross.
Good Evening, my lovely friends on the www.diabetes.co.uk Type 2 Life Forum,
I am posting to inform you that today was a better day with some blood glucose readings regarded as average/optimum but after some snacks they shot up to 8.7/8.8 but soon came down again with the help of the Insulin production in my pancreas and the introduction of glucagon-like compounds manifest in my Lixisenatide injection which I had this morning. Late afternoon I consumed a bowl of some kind of French Onion Soup from a sachet with boiling water from my kettle in a white bowl with floral patterns with 2 slices of Kingsmill 50/50 bread, one a crust and one an ordinary slice. Then approximately 45 minutes afterwards my friend visitted and shared his southern fried chicken hot and spicy wings with me and I had four chicken wings in total with batter and other ingredients. In the early evening, I took a ready meal of spaghetti bolagnese and some other groceries to my diabetic friend with mobility problems and a mental health disability and she gave me a small amount of food left over from the weekend, which comprised two pork sausages and pasta in tomatoes with cooked onion which I ate. Then I smoked approximately 5-6 Holborn Yellow Tobacco hand-rolled cigarettes, had 2 sprays of Nicorette FineMist which is a nicotine replacement therapy product and approximately 6-7 glasses of tap water. I took my blood glucose reading at approximately 5:48pm and it was 5.7 millimoles per litre once the food I ate was digested and glycaemia stabilised.
Yours faithfully,
Mr Johnny Baker
