Type 2s: What have you eaten today?

So far today I've had a treat at Mcdonalds for breakfast,
2 sausage egg mcmuffins without the muffins and a nice
Hot latte. Good morning all

I must do this often enough because my local McDonald's always puts a knife and fork in the bag and puts the melted cheese in between the egg and sausage patty!

Today: 0% Oikos Greek yogurt topped with some blueberries. Switching to some lower fat choices these days after taking in the latest Diet Doctor podcast with Ted Naiman.

Yesterday (May 10th)

Breakfast: 0% Greek yogurt with strawberries, black coffee
Lunch (12pm): Chicken fajita "bowl" with cheese and salsa (all homemade)
Dinner (8pm): 4 pork ribs from Costco deli/rotisserie, dry rub (no sauce), roasted mushrooms stuffed with Boursin cheese
Snack (11pm) - 1/4 cup peanuts, more 0% yogurt with blueberries
 
Yesterday (May 11th)

Breakfast: 5 small breakfast sausage links
Lunch (12pm): Chicken fajita "bowl" with cheese and salsa (all homemade)
Snack (3pm): 0% Greek yogurt with strawberries, black coffee
Dinner (6pm): 4 pork ribs from Costco deli/rotisserie, dry rub (no sauce), leftover chicken, peppers, and onion
Snack (10pm) - A few spoonfuls of homemade Sloppy Joe sauce (ground beef and tomato paste, seasoning
 
Yesterday (May 12th)

Breakfast: 0% Greek yogurt with berries, black coffee
Lunch (12pm): Sweet peppers stuffed with ground beef "sloppy joe" and topped with cheese (all homemade)
Snack (3pm): Atkins protein bar
Dinner (6pm): Pan fried sliced pork belly with fondant potatoes and a light lager (a planned indulgence)
Evening Snack (10pm) - Nothing
 
Yesterday (May 13th)

Breakfast: 0% Greek yogurt with berries, black coffee
Lunch (12pm): Sweet peppers stuffed with ground beef "sloppy joe" and topped with cheese (second day in a row)
Snack (3pm): Nothing to eat, black coffee
Dinner (6pm): Grilled pork rib chops with coleslaw
Evening Snack (10pm) - 1/4 cups peanuts and a light lager
 
Yesterday (May 14th)

Breakfast: 2 Babybel cheese, black coffee
Lunch (12pm): Leftover grilled pork rib chop and a tomato salad
Snack (3pm): MacDonalds sausage, cheese, and egg, black coffee
Dinner (6pm): Another leftover grilled pork rib chop and a small takeaway wonton soup
Evening Snack (10pm) - 1/4 cups peanuts and a light lager
 
Yesterday (May 15th)

Breakfast (8am): 0% Greek yogurt, black coffee
Lunch (12pm): Leftover grilled pork rib chop, coleslaw, stole a few of my wife’s French fries
Snack (3pm): No food, black coffee
Dinner (8pm): Grilled sirloin steak, topped with pesto sauce, roasted button mushrooms stuffed with Boursin cheese
Evening Snack (10pm) - No food, a Bitburger lager
 
Yesterday (May 16th)

Breakfast (8am): 4 sunny side up eggs, black coffee
Lunch (1pm): Restaurant meal - Caesar salad and naan bread chicken sandwich (ugh shouldn't have done this)
Snack (3pm): Sun Chips (like a thin wheat cracker), black coffee
Dinner (8pm): Chicken wings and too much beer
Evening Snack (10pm) - No food, but more beer

What an embarrassing day of carb intake, although per my Libre I tolerated it better than expected. Anyway no sense pretending it didn't happen, getting back on the straight and narrow today.
 
Yesterday (May 17th)

Breakfast (8am): 2 McDonald's sausage & egg McMuffins (no buns), black coffee
Lunch (1pm): Homemade cheeseburger (no bun), tomato salad, coleslaw
Snack (3pm): Nothing to eat, black coffee
Dinner (8pm): Grilled sirloin steak with pesto
Evening Snack (10pm) - No food, but a beer
 
Yesterday (May 26th)

Breakfast (9am): 0% greek yogurt and strawberries, black coffee
Snack (10:30am): Atkins protein bar
Lunch (12pm): Slow cooker shredded chicken with salsa and cheese
Snack (3pm): None
Dinner (8pm): BBQ burger patties with pickles
Evening Snack (10pm) - No food, but some beer

I had a few "off days" over the past week due to my COVID vaccine followed by an overnight trip with my wife for some sightseeing and hiking, didn't eat awful by any means but didn't write it down.
 
B - 2 poached eggs, ½ avocado, 3 oatcakes and a black decaf coffee

L- 4 bits of cold chicken, red pepper chopped and some cucumber. Fizzy water

Snack at 3pm - 2 teaspoons of M and S organic peanut butter and ½ apple

D will be:

Roasted salmon, med veg and salad followed by cheese and the other ½ apple. Glass of dry red. Lavender tea to finish

Did an hour on the static bike too.

Similar diet yesterday saw me go to bed at 6.0 on the meter, 2.75 hours after finishing dinner...

Good morning

I didnt know what u wanted for breakfast this morning so I made these little egg muffins

Made 6 deep muffins
4x eggs
Chopped up ham
1x red pepper chopped
1x tomato fresh chopped

Beat the eggs then put in muffin tin, put all the chopped bits in each, popped in the oven for around 20 mins.

They came out lovely I'm cutting even more carbs out this week as they make me feel really bloated and aweful, you can keep them in the fridge too for a quick snack xxx20210615_113336.jpg
 
Breakfast- cottage cheese, coffee
Lunch-Indonesian smashed chicken breast smothered with cheese.
Dinner-chicken salad, around 8 sea scallops.
Snack-one protein shake.
