Wow! I'm jealous reading about these Lidl protein rolls. We don't seem to have an equivalent here down under. I have found a low carb bread with 10g carb per slice but keep reading about the Lidl rolls with not a little envy
Great readings keep it up
Cheers

Lol! We don't have a Lidl either, plenty of room for one and lots and lots of new houses popping up like raddishes in spring, so lots of new people around, but no Lidl, no Morrisons, no Nettos, and no new cinema that they kept promising us.

FBG this morning was 7.8
Pre Breakfast was 6.5
Breakfast was Smoked Salmon & Scrambled Eggs
Post Breakfast was 5.7
Pre Lunch was 5.7
Lunch was Lidl Protein Roll Salmon Fillet & Mayo & Baby Bell
Post Lunch 5.1
Pre Dinner was 5.6
Dinner was some Knorr Soup Chicken Noodle - the last pack I had !
Post Dinner was 7.2 - which I fully expected from the soup.

A wood fired pizza and a quarter . Amazingly I only spiked at 8.3 . Low carbs are starting to work. Oh yes 3 glasses of red wine too
In my experience, 2 hours testing for pizza simply isn't enough. It's very sneaky, that combination of high cab floury base + high fat, cheesy toppings.

For me, pizza didn't give me an horrendous rise, but the number stayed elevated for quite some time.

Good Evening All Today's Fare

B Bacon Sausage and 2 x Poached eggs with tomato and mushroom
S Full Cream Milk Coffee
L Chicken & Cheese Slices
D Scotch Fillet with Green Salad and Avacardo
Extra 3 x Blonde Pale Ales at the footy (only 1g carb each)

Calories 1466 (A big day for me)
Carbs 38g

12/3/16.

B: Pot of Greek Yoghurt. (Meant to eat this last night).
L: 2 slices of Hovis Wheatgerm toasted and buttered.
D: 3 Wheatgerm Rolls filled with Egg Mayonaise, followed by Apple Pie.
S: 3 buttered crackers and Red Leicester Cheese.

I'm only going to say that I ate far too much

actually I take that back, because I am now feeling pretty miserable about it...

09.30 B = Bacon & Scrambled Eggs & Black Pudding & Beans & 2 Slices of wholemeal toast
(this was at the Treacle Mine before my Diabetes Support Group)
15.45 L = Bacon & Brie & Cranberry on Foccacia
(at this stage I was starving and McDonald's was calling me and I don't know what to do about eating out in cafe's)
20.30 D = Asparagus & Baby Corn & Cauliflower & Roast Chicken with a Glass of Red wine
then I had Blueberries with Double Cream
I also had 2 bars of 'Divine Caramel Dark Chocolate' Bars and scoffed them like a junkie

My daily calorie goal is 1200 I earned 934 in walking today but I ate over 2000

its not my tummy I want to feed - its my mouth & my tastebuds... :p:depressed::dead:
