Going to have a protein snack before bed to see if this reduces my fbg tomorrow morning

Supper tonight was homemade lasagne (beef mince, fresh tomato sauce, white sauce made with buckwheat, aubergine replacing the lasagne sheets and LOTS of cheddar cheese), carb free spaghetti, 3 oat cakes topped with cheese. Followed up with a very small amount of port.

Had a nice long swim in the afternoon. bgs not too bad (in the 6's) apart from morning fb 9.7 - just can't seem to conquer the fasting levels.

Wow that sounds like a fantastic meal. Great result on the bgl.

I had a fasting blood glucose reading of 8.6 mmol this morning then took my lixisenatide and metformin as well as my mood stabilisers and ate a massive meat feast melted cheese deep pan pizza, had several mugs of coffee each with 3 sugars and Coffeemate, then some glasses of tap water, and later on than that at about oneish I had a take away of a lamb doner kebab with everything. I feel like I've really overdone it today and this makes my depression in my Asperger Syndrome worse.

Eaten today:

Nothing til dinner then bacon with spirallised courgette and konjac noodles or whatever the 0 carb noodles are called with Roquefort melted in. BG two hours after 7.5 pretty good but was still hungry so just eaten 3x livlong bread with benecol. Apparently that's 34 g of carbs for the day and just over 1100 calories

Breakfast was the usual berries and yoghurt with flaxseed. Lunch 1 round Bergen bread with cheese and cucumber filling. Dinner was steak salad. Bg before evening meal was 8.0, a bit higher than I was hoping for.

Today I have had:

Breakfast: a bowl of crunchy nut corn flakes

Lunch: two ham sandwiches

Dinner: chicken burgers and oven chips.

No snacks in between but numerous cups of tea!

BSL tonight: 6.7

Food Consumed on Thursday 17th March, 2016:-

Supper:- 1 Chili Beef Pizza with toppings of ground beef, finely chopped chili, onion, cheese and tomato puree as well as complex carbohydrates in the bread base.
