Type 2s: What have you eaten today?

Tryin a full brekkie this morning coz I’m off on hols . Fbg 5.3 want to see if it goes up much .
2 coffee with double cream
2 eggs 3 bacon 2 sausages
Mushrooms , 2 livlife bread with butter and cheddar cheese. Biggest brekkie I’ve had in months . Most carbs in the morning in months as well . Let’s see what happens

B: Porridge, 2 boiled eggs, water.

L: I had a pork pie minus the pastry :D & an Activia NAS yogurt

T: Brisket cooked in the slow cooker with carrot, onion & turnip and a few new potatoes, tea

Chouffe coffee (Belgian coffee liqueur)

After 2 hrs bg was still 5.3 and down to 4.9 at 15:30 so happy days

B: 1 Rye & sunflower seed bread toasted, 1/2 avocado, 2 poached eggs, Greek yogurt with cinnamon.

Cheeky home made sausage roll (not made by me)
L: Raspberries, Activia NAS yogurt

T: Chicken supreme, cauli rice, red wine.
 
I made some chicken salad - chopped-up grilled chicken, sliced broccoli, green onions, red onions, cucumbers, and celery, mixed with mayo and spices. I nearly cried it was so delicious. :)
 
I made up my own recipe! I warm 65mls of unsweetened almond milk in the microwave for 30secs, then add 4 level teaspoons of chia seeds, 2 level teaspoons of cocoa powder and two teaspoons of sugar free maple syrup. Stir it all well and then store overnight in the fridge. I eat it warm by zapping it in the microwave again.

EDIT That makes one portion.

I eat same but use one spoon of honey instead of maple syrup.

1 slice of brown weight watchers bread toasted and a fried egg. 2 mugs of tea

B: Bacon & egg butty on Hovis Nimble wholemeal, tea
Latte
L: 4 Boneless fillets at KFC, latte
T: Chicken, sweet potato & coconut curry, red wine.

Unfortunately most of that came back up at 4am this morning :bigtears:

L: Chicken & veg soup, pork scratchings, 3 tiny slices of melon, Mullerlight Greek yogurt.

Naughty piece of birthday cake
T: Tesco Finest mini meatballs in garlic & herb sauce, wholemeal spaghetti, red wine.

I just had a very tasty soup with different types of beans, including borlotti beans. It is the first time I have had it and it was thick and tasty.

I love soups, I used to make a lot of my own but I've got lazy and buy the fresh soups. Will have to get back into the habit.

No lunch but did have a couple of Gullon NAS biscuits
G&T
T: A huge rump steak, mushrooms, cauli & broccoli cheese bake thing from Iceland, a few onion rings, red wine.
Red bush tea.
 
Natural Greek Yoghurt, with seeds, was awful, so wont be having that again,

Lunch Carrot sticks and Hummus, that was lovely and 2 squares of Lindt 90% dark chocolate

And Tea will be Salmon and salad x
