    at mo 9-1 been taken off medication as going into hypos at 5.9

    I was on 1 x Metformin 500 twice a day, but I stopped taking it six months ago after discussions with my GP.

    Other non diabetic medication is listed in my sig.

    i was on metformin from october last year but had fainting symptoms in february so was taken off .after many tests they started me on Glimepiride .i was on 2mg but strait away i was getting shakes so that was put to 1mg ,within a short time i was going into hypo at 5.9
