Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

    Bleaurgh … full of cold overnight so had a cold-cure drink first thing, 8.4 an hour later when I got up (that'll be the sugar in the drink) . Then feeling so rubbish I made pancakes with honey for breakfast to cheer myself up. 6.3 two hours later.

    Oh, I feel your pain today! I got up with a splitting headache and FBG of 8.6! Had to drag myself out of bed and go to work, now I'm falling asleep on the desk like back in the day when my blood sugars would camp in high teens. Definitely coming down with something, now the sniffles have started. Urgh... Wish I could go back to bed now and not move for 24 hours. :bigtears:

    a 5.4 at 0600..low carb all day and two large glasses of vino tinto..and hit a new 25year low..95.2 kilos.. pleased with that.
