Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Maybe a silly question, but: Is an hba1c figure more important than a daily reading? I understand that one is looking at three months average, is that normally an accurate figure if compared to three months worth of daily figures?
Not a silly question by any means.

Both matter; they measure different things. The finger prick test records blood glucose at that moment. You only have data for the times you test, but those records are invaluable, provided that your testing regime is consistent.

9.3mmol this morning, my lowest reading for some time.
Visit to G.P. yesterday, resulted in no changes, but advice to digest less Carbs.
Also was told that Prednisolone medication which I'm on for Vasculitis, will affect Blood Sugar readings and increase them.
Today's FBG reading isn't great, but you must be pleased it's now heading in the right direction.

For dietary advice and tips, I'd dip into the Food and Nutrition neighbourhood of the forum. There are lots of knowledgeable and experienced folk there.
