*kSaw Dermatologist at hospital today and they advised to ween me off the steroid tablets Prednisolone that I'm taking to prevent recurring leg ulcers and small vessel vasculitis.

These Predisolone tablets, the Consultant advised, are a likely cause for the high Blood Glucose readings.
Hoping once I'm off those tablets, my fasting blood sugar readings will be more stablek(0
