Today it's a year exactly since I did my FBG for the first time - it was 10 point something!

Fbg 8.2 still no metformin. Insulin controlling bgs and only had to take 25units of novarapid to get my 8s. On stopping metformin I had to increase to 40units. 20 units for meal and 20 to correct. Very low carb gives me flat bg levels so no corrections needed. One third less novarapid but no change to basal need until more weight loss.
I'm free for op anytime after the 17th May this year.
Must get rid of this reoccurring laryngitis first thou.

Its reoccurring laryngitis. Viral. Kids have given me their germs.... again.
DN said no amount of insulin can cover stress, pain or illness... for me. Not very hopefully in op

I don't know why my fbgs have been in the high 6s and 7s in the last two weeks as I'm eating much the same as I was before when I averaged 6.3.
