Fbg 8.2 still no metformin. Insulin controlling bgs and only had to take 25units of novarapid to get my 8s. On stopping metformin I had to increase to 40units. 20 units for meal and 20 to correct. Very low carb gives me flat bg levels so no corrections needed. One third less novarapid but no change to basal need until more weight loss.
I'm free for op anytime after the 17th May this year.
Must get rid of this reoccurring laryngitis first thou.

Its reoccurring laryngitis. Viral. Kids have given me their germs.... again.
DN said no amount of insulin can cover stress, pain or illness... for me. Not very hopefully in op

5.7 a little higher than this last week, I blame the huge gammon steak I had for dinner last night whilst out with my parents! (‘Gluconucleogenisis’ or whatever it’s called!)
5.8 this morning. Fully explained by "adult exercise" so quite ok with that.
5.4 after eating exactly nothing yesterday
7.1 today self inflicted hangover ! No sympathy with myself
