A balmy 10.4 this morning at 6 am reducing to a marginally less balmy 10.2 two hours after breakfast!

7.6 this morning, which was pleasant surprise as I had my HBA1C two days ago and may have broken out the Christmas Lebkuchen biscuits last night as a post-blood test treat, so I was expecting much worse this morning.

(And wow... that icing is ridiculously sweet...!)

I think the answer is this is highly individual but some general outlines apply. Good luck with it. Can I ask why the target is 80kg?

At the risk of hijacking, it’s when my BMI would no longer be “overweight”. So yes, arbitrary target!
