It's a 7.1 at 9am. Ouch! And it's probably going to get worse, since today's little experiment is to see if 2 slices of ordinary (not low carb) wholemeal toast kickstart my metabolism for the day.

7.3 followed by 6.7 on immediate re-test at 10am. Both less than brilliant. I suspect Aldi's diet lemonade is to blame, since I had some to drink this morning before testing. Unfortunately, rather than putting 'trace' on their labelling, they seem to put every figure less than 0.5g as '< 0.5' on their products, so you can't really tell whether they're near zero carb or not.
