Good Morening Fellow Scale Crushers
Today I tried a new tactic on my lying cheating evil nasty scales, I quietly snuck into bathroom and caught the evil nasty b***t**d scales by surprise, yippee it worked.
Down 1lb 14st 9lb....
Footnote as I walked of the bathroom I swear I heard them scales say " I'll get you next week "

I'll try and make this short. But sweet. Ha ha

I'm now 134.60kgs this morning. Goal is 133.00 or less.
A whole new eating regime. A 800cals diet with newly added fibrogel.
Swimming been readded to exercise of poor walking.
For now an eighth less insulin injected to get fbg 7s and less than 10s after meal. Reducing if any hypos. Added Dapagliflozin temporary for any weight loss to start my bariatric op.
So....
See you next week. ;)

Well done to fellow weight busters. Even to those of no loss this week. :)

Well done yourself, nice loss. And very close to your weight goal.

Hi All
My first post on this thread - 1 week in since my diagnosis, 1 week of low carbs complete and a 5 pound loss which makes a Friday feel ever better! Also a mini milestone for me as takes my total weight loss since 6th aug to 1 and half stone (I’d started eating healthier before my diagnosis). Fingers crossed for good results next week

My first main aim and what I’m focusing so hard on is for A1C levels at my December 3month check to be down into pre-diabetic range and ideally from a weight point of view another stone gone by then.

I have Asperger Syndrome which is an autism spectrum condition and a full diagnosis of Adult ADHD which are characterised by impairments in social communication, social interaction and social imagination. I also have a rigid and somewhat unpredictable routine. I also experience obsessive rituals, some a bit overwhelming. But I have a talent in articulate creative writing skills and possess a photographic rote memory. I have sensory sensitivity and get upset by loud noises, bright colours or lights, and notice the texture and consistency of certain foods more making my dietary choices extremely limited or restricted to certain food components. I dislike conflict and lies. The Adult ADHD also makes me very moody and cross.
Dear Friends,

I now weigh 90.3 kilogrammes, am 167.6 centimetres tall and am a 44-inch waist. At my Lambeth Early Intervention and Prevention Service Health Group I attended yesterday, I was given an electronic step-tracker which I clip to my trousers just over my hip bone. I walked over 2000 steps today.

Yours sincerely,

@JohnnyBaker87, a sufferer of moderate to severe Asperger Syndrome, Adult ADHD, Insulin-Resistant Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Musculoskeletal Disorder and Mild Dyscalculia.

My blood glucose level was just 16.7 a few minutes ago - yikes!

I weighed 86kg in Jan 2018 and I'm now down to 66kg . 65kg is my target. BMI currently 22.
I swim a mile a week, play tennis 3 times a week, table tennis twice a week and average over 10,000 steps a day.
Don't know what else I can do . I think old age(I'm 71) and years of munching cakes and chocs have left their mark .

A day early as was weighed yesterday (Thursday). Being weighed on Monday and hoping to be 133kgs. Was 134.00kgs yesterday. Lost 0.44kgs since Tuesday.
Very slowly coming off. I think sugar in shakes and in milk with sugary tablets mebeverine isn't helping my cause. Still on 375units of insulin as no hypos. I'm convinced Toujeo300 is an anti hypo new insulin so difficult to tell when to reduce it.

Good morning all. 12 stone 12 lbs ( 81.8 kg ). A tiny .1kg loss this week;)
Last weeks weight loss was down to putting in lots of miles ( over 60 in the week ). This week its mostly been some excercises at home. Its a bit of adjustment, as I can eat more when walking. But the restistance training is better for BG. Will stick with the resistance exercises for a while. Need to watch food intake. Have a great week all.

I went to my Health Group yesterday and I was weighed and I weigh 90.60 kgs, so I've gained a tiny bit of weight. They advised me to try wholegrain starchy foods, 5 portions of vegetables a day but less fruit for my diabetes. I've got to use low-fat dairy products, too. I'm going to go back to using soya and linseed bread like Debrasue from Type 2 Life thread advised me as well as wholegrain spelt spaghetti and wholemeal rice as well as making my chicken and vegetable soups with chicken with the skin removed as well as increasing my walking and swimming activities.

Hello shrinking people
I can't remember when I last posted on this thread. Probably been a few weeks but pleased to report that after a stable August (holiday), the line is going down again.
Weigh in today at 84.3kg, which is 0.8kg down for the week, 3.2kg down for the month and 17.2kg down since diagnosis in May.
I've settled on a target which is 81.5kg, a 20kg (3 stone) milestone - when I get there I'll be at a happy weight, and will try to focus on keeping it there or thereabouts. A bit of work to be done before I can pop the cork on that one though.
Hope everyone is well - I've had a rotten week but feeling a good deal jollier now.
