Back from holiday... exactly the same!
Ate low carb but did have wine everyday and some icecreams.
Now to really concentrate on losing 13lbs I want to.
Good job! I think wine is essential for vacations. Seriously! Lol. Man, I need a vacation.

I’m watching my ice cream lately, but in US, July is national Ice Cream month. Lol. Really. Not that I need an excuse. I get the Carb Smart popsicles. Very tasty with few carbs and low cal.

How interesting to get all those analytics done at the fitness centre, @Prancy - yes it would have been good to have been able to compare with where you started, but at least you know where you are at now. Good news about the smell recovery post-Covid, too. A STS (stay the same) is always a win in my book, it happens sometimes and is much better than a gain!

I hope your medical person at the doctors was pleased with your weight loss @May Mic - it probably makes a change to what they see from most patients.

You need to concentrate on your recovery @MissMuffett so don't worry too much about your tight shorts just yet. You can get back on it when you are healed properly.

@filly I know what you mean about the heat impacting things, I feel kind of puffy in the hot weather, too. It has cooled down now, so hopefully our weigh-ins on Friday will be much better.

Staying the same while being on holiday is wonderful @MrsA2 - I am glad you had what sounds like a lovely time!

Just a half pound off this week, it is slowing down a lot now, but I still refuse to cut calories, just going to wait it out, if it takes me longer to get to goal, I really don't mind, so long as I don't put on.

How is everyone else doing?

How is everyone else doing? Congrats to you! That’s progress and it counts for sure, imo.
Congrats to you on the loss! That’s progress imo. And, I get not cutting calories when you’re eating so clean.

I’m down 1 pound and thrilled! My progress is reasonable, i guess, but it still seems slower than I’d like. I did put the brakes on my treat fruits, but still had plenty of berries and cucumbers. With my improved sense of smell, food taste so much better than before. It’s harder to resist delicious food. I’m trying to bulk up on low cal veggies. I think I might return to some intermittent fasting next week.

Spicy food which is too hot. Nasty people who have no idea on your life journey but feel the need to comment and be cruel.
Not up or down. same 212.5

Thanks @Prancy well done on your pound off this week, I can imagine your sense of smell returning being a double edges sword, great that is back, but hard not to resist all the lovely tasting food again after this time. Just do what you can do and it will come off in time.

I am glad you didn't have a gain, @filly I always think a STS is just things taking their own sweet time, hopefully it will be better next week.

This may be wrong, but I consider some of my current weight excess skin. It has to be a couple of pounds, right? Lol.

I went bra shopping yesterday…..ugh….(all I have that fit are sport bras, since weight loss)….and I went into TWO stores that didn’t have even one bra in my size! Not one! Isn’t that bizarre? Anyway, I tried to fit into a smaller cup size and it was a failure. Will have to return it. Ugh…..And, it’s not a particularly odd size. 36 DD. It must be pretty popular since its mainly sold out.

Not being able to eat the food I used to.
OK down to 14st 3lb today when I went on the scales. Now seem to fluctuate between 14 1 and 14 4 for the last couple of months. I'll take it. Would like to put a little back on, but at least I'm not losing massively anymore!

I agree about the loose skin probably accounting for some excess weight, but it's unlikely to be a huge amount. I estimate mine to be around 7lbs (based on watching TV programmes where people have had surgery).

I sympathise about the bra issue, I have the same problem and I'm living in sports bras until I can get measured properly, just need the time, really.

That sounds like you are maintaining, there's bound to be some fluctuation week on week. Keeping an eye on it is wise, though and if you are losing weight unaccountably, it may be worth visiting your doctor to check everything is OK.

Friday might be a better weigh in day for me. Losing weight slowly but surely 11st 11lbs 7.3 blood.
Yes, I quite like a Friday weigh in and well done on the steady weight loss. How have you done this week?

I'm on the road today, so I'm up early to report a 2lb loss this week. That brings my total loss to 9 stone and just 7lbs to goal!
