Up .2. It's the same 2 lbs I keep bouncing around. I'd like to go down a few before bouncing around again, but it is what it is.
I can relate. I’m actually the same weight. I have to regroup and try something to shake things up. I may send a PM to my nutritionist. I’m going to work out my frustration by doing a super intense workout today. Wish I could use the sauna, but that heat is just too much for me. When I open the door, it knocks me out. Lol.

Hot weather for me means massive fluid retention and consequent bloat. SO annoying! And so I am 2lb heavier. Even more annoying. Knowing what causes it and that it is temporary does not make me feel any better about it.
That is annoying. I tend to avoid diuretics. Lately, I think the fresh salads I’m having are making me go a lot.

I've been reading this thread, although not posting here much. I'm pretty much the same as some of you; up and down a pound each week over the last couple of months or so... :(

Spicy food which is too hot. Nasty people who have no idea on your life journey but feel the need to comment and be cruel.
After last week put on 6ozs. 211.6

Hi everyone,

I see many of us are struggling, best thing is to keep going, sometimes the body hangs on to the weight or it comes off very slowly. Frustrating, I know.

Well, I managed to lose a pound this week, which is a miracle because I have had a guest staying who eats constantly and I had to keep them fed many more times a day than I normally eat and the temptation to join in was great. All I can think is that the running around after them must have burnt off some calories. :dead:

So, just 6lbs to goal now. It is hard to keep motivated, but I really would like to see a healthy BMI eventually.

Good luck everyone, just do your best, especially as it is going to get really hot again for the next few days!

Great news LeafyArts! ⭐️ You seem to be doing all the right things and your body is responding.

I had to be out the door super early this morning for a work matter and didn’t weigh yet, but will when I get home. I weigh during the week though and was up and down this past week, but I doubt I’ve lost any. I’ve done right with my food, though so I don’t feel bad. Maybe, my body is fighting, retaining fluid……idk, but I really think my calories are right.

BG has been super good this past week with an average of 120. So…I can’t complain. Still…..I’m meeting old friends for a birthday dinner next week (not mine) and I’d like to be at my lowest weight possible.

I’m at a loss as to how to shake things up….returning to intermittent fasting. I started that today. I won’t get discouraged. I love how I’m feeling and looking. I look forward to being my best. Oh! Just thought of something…I’ve been working extra hard on my strength training, especially my arms. I think I’ve increased my arm muscles! Another win, so…..

No weigh in for me today as I sit watching the sun come up over the lake, shining through the breaks in the clouds, bouncing off the rippling water.

Thanks Prancy!
It does sound like you are building muscle and therefore converting fat to muscle. It can look like a weight loss stall, but probably isn't. You are doing very well with your fitness in general, so keep it up!

I stayed the same this week, not surprised as I have had two social events that involved eating and I find it very hard to navigate those situations.

I’ve been around, but very busy. I wanted to congratulate those who did so well and commiserate with those who didn’t see scale progress last week. I was the same AGAIN! Lol. It’s rather funny, if you think about it. I still met with friends for a birthday celebration this weekend. Not mine. It was awesome! Took pics and I was quite pleased. We had a grande time. The difference between last year and this year is amazing! So, I can’t be unhappy.

I’m still working out. I worked out Sat and Sunday this weekend. AND, I’ve begun these exercises called Primal Movements. I observed someone doing them and looked it up online. Appears to help with core strength. Very challenging.

So, I’m not giving up. I will continue on this quest. I will attain my goal weight. I just bought 2 new pair of bikers shorts and ordered a new pair of running shoes. I am committed. Hoping for a better week ahead.
