What goes down, sometimes goes up. Up 4. My body seems to like it's current set point.
Yes! i go to 2 different gyms since I’m normally at my weekend house on weekends and the gym there has a true Stairmaster. It’s quite different from the one at my other gym. They both really work your body though. It’s helping with my legs and butt. Those have always been my tough spots. I have some definite goals before Christmas.Yay, well done Prancy, that is a great result, but oh, the injuries and flare up - how annoying. Good idea to switch to the elliptical, I do find that one the least likely to hurt me. Stair-stepping is really a tough one, you will see some amazing results from that, I am sure.
That is often the case, are you near goal weight? It seems our bodies do indeed like to make sure we retain some fat, just in case a famine is around the corner. What goes down, sometimes goes up. Up 4. My body seems to like it's current set point.
LeafyArts, not trying to pry, but I noticed your new profile addition. Does that mean you have lost 133 pounds and weigh 128.5?That is often the case, are you near goal weight? It seems our bodies do indeed like to make sure we retain some fat, just in case a famine is around the corner.
That's OK, Prancy, it means I have lost 128.5 out of the 133lbs that I need to lose to get to a healthy BMI. I am avoiding putting my actual weight on here, probably for vanity reasons and because I was very ashamed of how high I had let my weight get, prior to this weight loss.LeafyArts, not trying to pry, but I noticed your new profile addition. Oh, of course. Now I see it. That’s quite impressive! You are very close indeed! i’m 6 pounds away! I think not posting weight is a personal decision and I haven’t done it either. But I might when I reach my goal. Idk….mulling it over. That's OK, Prancy, it means I have lost 128.5 out of the 133lbs that I need to lose to get to a healthy BMI. That’s amazing! What did you do?I'm 86 kg (189 lb) today before breakfast. I lost 10 kg in last two months.
Morning walk 30 - 45 minutes, and diabetes diet. No sugar and sweets. That’s amazing! What did you do?
Wow - well done, that is a lot of weight off. I did a similar thing with the walking and the diet, too. I can now do a lot more and I run as well as go to the gym. The daily walks, though, really make a huge difference.I'm 86 kg (189 lb) today before breakfast. I lost 10 kg in last two months.
Yes, maintain a bit before you do any cosmetic work. I have lost a substantial amount of weight in the past and it is interesting how during the maintenance stage, things do shift naturally. I noticed that with wrinkly skin, especially. It settles and even goes away after a few months.Oh, of course. Now I see it. That’s quite impressive! You are very close indeed! i’m 6 pounds away! I actually started wondering if I would have enough fat to harvest, if I decide to have certain cosmetic work done. Like moving my fat around. Lol. Maybe, I should maintain until I find out.
This is so exciting!
I hope that happens with me. I told my primary about how when I sit or lay in certain surfaces, it feels like something nudging my tailbone. Think I mentioned it before. He examined it. He says things will settle down. Hope so. I’m also still concerned that my limbs are too thin. I need more muscle. I‘m not sure who to see about it.Yes, maintain a bit before you do any cosmetic work. Mind you, it all depends on each individual, genetics, age and how much weight was lost etc.
I still count that as positive though, due to your excellent past history. Still, totally in the zone! Congrats on that!
Thanks Prancy, I think muscle is building as I am chasing new goals at the gym and on the track!I still count that as positive though, due to your excellent past history. Still, totally in the zone! Congrats on that!
