I’m the same this week and I’m not alarmed. I have stayed the course and even bought 2 new dresses for my nephew’s wedding. I like the way they fit and I’m feeling healthy overall. I’m increasing my strength training and feel stronger!

I’ll continue with my plan next week and expect I’ll see results by then.

Congrats to those who are seeing results! And, hugs to those who are feeling discouraged. I get it. Hang in there!

Well done everyone again and commiserations if you are struggling. I am still away and I am dreading the scales when I get back, it has been hard to keep on track while everyone else is indulging! See you all next week, have a good one.

Weight loss/gain is weird! 2 days ago I went out for lunch - first time in 3 years. I had whitebait followed by crab salad (no dressings or carbs). It was lovely! Dinner was a pork chop with sprouts, cauliflower and broccoli. So effectively I ate around twice what I normally do in a day.

Following morning I was 1lb lighter. This morning as well.

Maybe I should eat out more!!!

Spicy food which is too hot. Nasty people who have no idea on your life journey but feel the need to comment and be cruel.

Hi everyone - I am baaaaack from my holiday away. Now, I have had a rough few weeks with some minor surgery 4 days before I left for my holiday, which was painful and slow to heal. It bothered me a bit while I was away, but I still had a great time. My only concern was that it was hard to eat low carb as I was eating with family members who eat a lot. I did my best though. Then as soon as I got back home, I was hit with a nasty flu virus and have been laid low with it ever since, so no exercise since I got back and a bit of comfort eating, although I did a lot of hiking on holiday prior. So I was dreading the scales this morning, but I am glad to say I have lost 1lb despite everything. Phew! Mind you, that means I only lost 1lb for all of September, LOL. Oh well, now I am feeling a bit better, I can get back on track to lose those final 3.5lbs.

On the NSV (non-scale victory) front, I was delighted to not need an extension belt for the flights and also to meet up with people I haven't seen for over a year and they were so amazed at my weight loss. Also, just being able to get around and about and enjoy my time away was the best thing ever, it makes it all so worthwhile.

That must have been a boost for you, and for your future weight loss. I'm so pleased for you.

I joined a gym, and have been twice, but despite that I only lost 1lb this week. I'm still chasing that next milestone of 15st.
