Now logged with hospital I'm 131.70kgs from 136.00 4wks ago.
I cannot wait to be reweighed in 3wks time there, again. :)

At last I can say I know how to lose weight but I must admit I needed help. Still do.

This 800cals diet is extreme so I have just added beef and a tiny bit chicken or lamb as veg can get very very boring, very quickly. Dietician is OK about this as no hypos. Less insulin too.
Craving (sort of) unobtainable chocolate milkshakes. Hoping I get lucky on Friday.

Looking forward to our Friday weigh-in... once again.
I just want to lose til I can walk without pain and be able to stop betablockers, at least.
My teams aim is to get me off novarapid so only needing basal insulin. Dapagliflozin so far is manageable but as yet I haven't checked for ketones. Must buy strips for free ketone meter. :)

Morning all, 13 stone 1 (83kg) a gain of 3lbs. Over did it at the weekend, and didn’t follow up with my long walks as I usually do. Not too concerned, but prefer to be below 13 stone. Mostly been sticking to my diet and exercise plan so am hopeful it will pay off. Well done to the LOOSERs, have a great week.

People that point out my spelling mistakes
Good Morening Fellow Scale Crushers.

Today in my continuing battle wif those evil, lying scales that reside in the bathroom, I decided on a new tactic of teasing the scales, walking up to them, then away repeating this several times the suddenly getting on them, I could swear them their scales was giggling as they said 14st 10lb again.
Now them their scales will be committing avaition out of the bathroom window if they don't start behaving themselves shortly.
Have a light week folks.

Postponed chocolate milkshakes for older boys INSET day expenses. Cannot do everything.
Forgot to weigh-in so will try in a few hours. Awake through night with ill (cough and sore throat) 5yr old.

Hi Everyone
I have started this thread to continue to measure my weight on a Friday. I do not belong to any weight loss support groups and feel there could be a lot Im missing out on from a support point of view. I measure my weight at the same time every Friday. You are welcome to join this thread with your own loss/challenge weeks.

10/3/16 - 3lb lost total lost to date - 17lbs
I weigh myself each Sunday morning, no clothes and scale in same place ... sometimes I step on scales during the week, just out of curiosity ... last time I did that, I had lost a pound, happy days. Interested to see what today (Sunday) will reveal.
Incidentally, my wife says the usual amount to shoot for is 2 pounds a week, but I'm sure that is folk lore, there are so many variables there can be no hard and fast rule ... I'll take an ounce or three pounds in a heartbeat :)
Congratulations on your journey, and bon voyage!

Such fab progress! And I’m now gutted I never did any starting measurements - never thought to, just focused on the scales, but must be great to see inches disappearing!!

It is great to see. (My doctor always get the nurse to measure me at appointments as well. Initially I didn't want to know but got the starting number at my last appointment.)

Today I tried on and bought a pair of size 18 jeans (22 British) . I'm thrilled, it's the first time in almost 30 years I've fit in that size. I was size 24 (28 British) when I started at the end of June. (My heaviest was a US/Canadian 26 which isn't even on the conversion chart). I'm so happy to get out of plus size and fit into XL & L (depending on the brand) in regular clothing. So much more choice.

Although good blood glucose was (and is) my main motivating factor, it's very rewarding to see reductions in weight and size. I still have a long way to go, but it's very motivating to see progress.

3 pound gone this week - so so happy as that means 2 and half stone gone exactly in just under 12 weeks and down 2 clothes sizes now (from certain shops but they’re going to be my new favourites ;))
