What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Hey, @Lenny3, can you post your recipe for that soup, please? It sounds DEELISH!
Hi, it's really easy. I have a very large deep wok, I chuck in approx 1kg bag of frozen broccoli, add 3-4pints of chicken stock, bring to the boil. Then add stilton, as much or as little as you like, maybe some cream if you want, then blend. Does me about 10 portions. I bought some Addis containers so i can portion it and freeze some and I take them to work in those to microwave for lunch.
 
Very strange experience today. In a meeting all day and only took cheese and nuts. No liquid provided but loads of sweets!! Anyway, over-ran by ages and I thought I was gonna faint. Had 2 jelly babies (still within my 50g of carbs) and perked up no end!!!
B.1 slice burgen toast and 2 eggs
L. 50g nuts 40g cheddar
D. Will be chicken, cauli cheese and green beans.
S. 2 jelly babies
 
B - Nothing
S - Broccoli & Stilton cuppa soup and x4 oatcakes
L - Large salad (lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes) with a can of tuna and a little balsamic dressing. Followed by Greek Yoghurt
D - King Prawns with stir fried veggies (packet bought - beansprouts, mushrooms, carrot, cabbage and white onion) and 1 slice of wholemeal bread followed by 2 squares of 74% cocoa Tesco chocolate
 
B. Usual 1 slice Burgen toast with Dbl Gloucester cheese
L. Bacon + eggs
D. 2 slices baked ham, 1/4 frittata, salad greens + coleslaw
S. 3 strips crispy bacon, 1 hard-boiled egg, 2oz dbl Gloucester with chives
 
B. coffee with double cream
L. scrambled cheesy eggs cherry tomatoes and homemade low carb bread ; tea
D. pork loin steak, a little cabbage, stilton with 2 thin apple slices for pudding

3 squares 90% chocolate spread out
more coffee and double cream
 
Tea was actually chicken and veg stir fried in fajita mix then strawbs and cream. But the wobble in the meeting earlier has really made me feel wierd. Could stick my head in a bucket of Smarties!!!
 
2 cheese sandwiches for breakfast on the run at 7am
No mid morning snack today
No lunch
Mid afternoon bowl of chili
Unknown variety of concession stand hotdog for supper at Middle Schooler's football game tonight

Two pots of coffee so far and probably one more after the game

today was a setback day.

I feel sluggish and cranky
 
B - peanut butter mug cake
L - avocado
D - Sirloin steak and some spinach bread fried crispy

S - small pack of pork scratchings

Lots of water today, too. I feel virtuous,
 
B: Mini Babybel, chia seed bread & almond butter
L: Homemade meat & liver meatballs, salad, strawberries & cream
D: Cheese omelette with sautéed kale, tiny clementine
 
Been feeling pretty dreadful the last couple of days,

Yesterday
B: Large coffee with cream @5:15
L: Hard Boiled Egg and a couple of chipolatas
D; Nothing, wasn't hungry and stomach cramping

Had an Activia Fig Yoghurt before bed...

It's 10:30 now and all I've had today so far is a Coffee with cream.....not hungry at all.

Sorry to hear BP, hope it moves on soon and you're back to your feeding.
 
An idiot continues...

L: celery, olives, cold ham and cold beef
D: Haddock in almonds fried in KerryGold, peas, black coffee, one coffee truffle.

This morning spent time Roasting Bell Peppers, (first time) and making baba G.... which actually is looking a bit odd... aubergines seem an odd texture.... going to get pulped anyway....

Lovely autumn morning round here, so going for a walk before work...

Not so good, especially when you have been doing so well! Hope it is temporary.
 
Today

B: cheese omelette
L: salad leaves in walnut oil dressing with cheese and walnuts, fruit tea
D: last of the fennel and bean stew with salad
Bake Off snack for later: It's chocolate night :nailbiting: so I've melted some 85% choc into little silicone moulds with a hazelnut and tenth of a dried apricot in each. Just waiting for them to set then I'm good to go.
 
B. 1 slice Burgen toast with cheese
L. Roast Turkey, 1/4 frittata
D. Venison grillsteak (Aldi) green salad leaves+ hard-boiled egg
S. 2 slices crispy bacon (m+s) 2oz Herby cheese, 5 almonds
 
B: 2-egg frittata with baby spinach, cheese & tomato
L: Green salad with 3 cheeses and guacamole (remainders bin at the Co-op). Will make my own next time
D: Battered fried haddock (almond flour batter, some left for a breakfast pancake tomorrow), steamed broccoli and leeks, and mash of fried onion, garlic & shredded cabbage with boiled butternut squash and courgette and topped with a little parmesan
