Nooo. I love lobster. Thing is I tend to make it myself and only occasionally have it in a restaurant. Prefer prosecco to champagne though.
Agree. A really lovely thing to do. I saw the inside of a hospice too often last year but being able to bring joy makes such a difference. This last paragraph brought a lump to my throat, what a lovely thing to do.
Sympathies over erratic bgs - mine were the same a couple of days ago but intermittent fasting seems to be helping to calm the situation, although I think that might be difficult for you. I remember you saying you had a strict timetable for your meds+ food.
Copy Me That is fantastic isn’t it? Don’t know where I’d be without it. ( yes I do, in a muddle)
I love lobster and champagne, but back in the day was equally happy with a few pints of good ale and a bag of crisps, so not sure what kind of date that makes me!?Nooo has to be real Champagne for me. I love lobster too so I’m definitely not a cheap date, surprising I had any dates at all really!
Dull, joyless and pretty aimless and that's just Spurs so far. If you add in the wind doubles as a description of the day. Hope everyone has had a good weekend.
Tea and 1 slice each of tongue and Brunswick ham until about 16.30. Lamb breast, spring greens, swede and celeriac mash and gravy for main meal. Hungry so had cubed CCB and h/m vanilla custard to fill a hole. Probably have cocoa later and could find something like cheese? to nibble.
Managing this condition is a marathon not a sprint and not every day can be wonderful. The food was nice/pleasant and hopefully LC. The swede celeriac mash is how celeriac needs to be from now on - doesn't do it for me other ways. Stay warm.
Evening all
Breakfast - cup of tea
Brunch - my DD new recipe of the week
https://www.dietdoctor.com/recipes/keto-bacon-mushroom-breakfast-casserole
It was amazing!!! Anybody have any ideas whether this sort of recipe could be re-heated? The cooking time means not doable for work in the week unless I could make of a weekend and warm up of a morning in the microwave?
Mid afternoon - bowl of berries, extra thick double cream and chopped hazelnuts
Dinner - can’t lie, no idea yet. Gin has been poured - only ever have one or two and only been a couple of occasions. Not had a ‘real drink ’ So to speak since diagnosis as feel like I can’t or shouldn’t. Even on holiday I was very restrained. But after almost a whole day of coursework I’m totally in the mood for a few drinks and an unwind. The music is on, the crazy dancing around the living room will soon commence so not going to punish myself, going to try and enjoy my night - and my promised lie in in the morning!
Yes I noticed the spurs score. Drama is all off park with hubby's team. Looks like manager is gone and finally they go and win away!Dull, joyless and pretty aimless and that's just Spurs so far. If you add in the wind doubles as a description of the day. Hope everyone has had a good weekend.

Correct. Won 3 - 1. Seems Neil has gone a bit too over the top this time. He's very passionate about football and the performances have been grim for a few months now but you need a bit more than a stick at times.Hibs?

Breakfast - cup of tea and 2 squares of green & blacks mint chocolate - I got a nice lie in and awoke to a note on my bed saying ‘kids in charge sunday’ so I have been told all day what to do and chocolate for breakfast was apparently rule no 1 of the day
Lunch - 2 Lincolnshire & 1 Cumberland sausage with sprouts, green beans, cauliflower, a few peas and a drizzle of gravy
An afternoon of movies so snacked on some nuts a couple of times
No dinner - not at all hungry but will no doubt have a coffee or two
Have you kids seen the eat to defeat them ad? Your veggies made me think about it. I think it's really funny.Evening all

We had a movie afternoon too, perfect for a cold grotty Sunday.
