Well after the really dreadful weather yesterday we actually got through today with no rain which was good as it was annual pilgrimage to Clarks day for new school shoes, trainers and black plimsols. No 1 is highly delighted to be a "Big" size 1. Today was also school haircut day as they go back next Wednesday. More thunderstorms forecast tomorrow but I am going with SIL and both grandsons to Dinosaur Zoo at the Fringe. Been before when No 1 was about 3 but he can't remember it. Must admit that you tend to forget the Dinosaurs are operated by people. At least it's a break from the ceiling collapse. SIL/BIL now back in Australia too. @DJC3 - I agree. BGs do just take a strop sometimes. Thankfully mine seem to be stabilising again. Impressed by the zip wire though. Bed 5.9 FBG 7 (slept a bit later today).
B. TAG with ADOC and 1/2 a boiled egg to stop the DP rise.
L. Nothing
D. After the shoe pilgrimage we went to M&S and amongst other things I got 4 each of the salami, chorizo and ham crisps - great carb content @Goonergal. Odd that they were in the deli section. So had a pack of the serrano ham crisps and a repeat of yesterday's meal - lamb chops with mint, GF sausage and a salad of lettuce, tomato, cucumber, 1/2 avocado and helmans.
Coffee and a Grenade double chocolate biscuit.
Fingers crossed that the asbestos report comes tomorrow as I'm fed up being banned from my bedroom.

They're an Australian group. They tour all over the place. There's a video here and quite a few on youtube.
Very envious absolutely love Tandoori lamb steaks and great tip to marinate a batch and freeze. Will be stealing that idea, thanks.Going to have the first tandoori steaks later tonight.
Sorry to hear you are under the weather (now theres an apt phrase) but your food did sound nutritious and I always think when you are unwell you have to sometimes swerve LC a little bit, small toast with your next pill? Take care.Evening all. Low energy day for me once again. B= tea and skinny bread toast with butter - don't usually eat B but need to take antibiotics atm. Lunch was cheese and avocado salad followed by 5% Fage, raspberries and 10 cal jelly. Evening was h/b egg and avocado salad. Will need to eat a little something later for another antibiotic.
Got to do this soon!View attachment 34774 Just had to pop back to post my tandoori lamb steak pic:

How did you cook your tandoori chops?
This evening, we had a sort of chipshop dinner. MrB had F&C, with mushy peas (and has just snaffled some salted caramel Haagen Dazs and HM clotted cream). I had a couple of Asda's finest triple chilli sausage (delish), with a few of MrB's chips and some mushy peas. It's an odd combo, but it's oddly delicious.
Even though we bought a small portion of chips, even after both of us had tucked in, more than half went out.
Airfryer.20 mins at 170 degrees (because my airfryer seems to run HOT and I am knocking 20 odd degrees off every recipe).
