@Annb I agree with @ianpspurs just by posting you are making headway - I find it helps to keep me focussed and make small tweaks to try and adjust this woe to suit me. I haven’t really sussed it to be honest, but I know I’d be in a worse position if I stopped. Keep at it, we all have our own medical and mental baggage to deal with as well as diabetes. Well done for persevering.
Back to today’s food
B: 1/2 a cheese omelette ( didn’t intend to have breakfast but daughter made herself an omelette then didn’t really fancy it so I ate it rather than waste it)
L: at a leisure centre as it was youngest granddaughter’s 7th birthday and she wanted to go swimming. The food was remarkably good a very meaty and well made bunless burger with loads of cheese and bacon. I asked for salad instead of chips and it was lovely - avocado, spinach, radishes, celery tomatoes. Nice coffee too.
D: 2boiled eggs mashed with butter and 2squares Montezuma’s with orange.
I had forgotten all about jaffa cakes I had to do a quick google for them, but one's to many, and the packet is not enough...followed by one Jaffa cake

Except that I airfry it, rather than deepfry it.
B=tea and a little water. Lunch = 2 eggs inside a breakfast mushroom with reduced sugar tommy K (treat) after #1 of 6 chemo. Evening= beef mince with some onion, Italian herbs, passata and a little bovril, topped with slices of celeriac and cheese. Attempt at LC comfort food (bit of an oxymoron but that was ok) - think the bovril (1 tsp in meal for 2) was a god idea and I have always liked passata and onion.
