It takes 50-55 mins to cook. I reckon it feeds 4 with veggies. Definitely too much for just two people. Picture below. It's part of the M&S collection range. Not suitable for freezing apparently nor should you reheat it (I suspect the spices would burn and the chicken would dry if you reheat.Glad your BGs behaving itself now.
I love spicy food, but I haven’t seen the M&S shawarma, can you post a photo so I know what to look for please? I’ve made Urvati Pitre’s IP version a few times and really like it, but sometimes even an IP recipe is too much faff.
Re the party: every year I say never again lol. There may well have been a stiff drink afterwards, I think the thought of it was all that kept me going!
Looks good. Will look out for that. Suspect I’ll get through a lot more than a quarter of it!It takes 50-55 mins to cook. I reckon it feeds 4 with veggies. Definitely too much for just two people. Picture below. It's part of the M&S collection range.
I suspect you might too! You don't have masses of veggies to contend with. I think the lot would be a challenge though.Looks good. Will look out for that. Suspect I’ll get through a lot more than a quarter of it!

Like the sound of that. Never had Marmite and butter before. Shall have to try it.Brunch - mug of Marmite with butter, small piece of cheese, small plain Greek yoghurt. Dinner will be vaguely Mediterranean - aubergine, peppers, courgettes, leeks (instead of onion) tomatoes, bacon lardons, thinly-sliced cheese, olive oil, garlic, turmeric, cayenne, vegetable stock cube, herbs from the garden, all baked in the oven. Leftovers will go in lumpy soup tomorrow.
It's bigger than it looks! You’ve laid down the gauntlet now!
Today wasn’t quite as planned. Was banking on Five Guys for brunch ahead of catching a train home, but got delayed trying to sort something in my Airbnb and didn’t have time. Instead picked some bits up from M&S - sausage rolls (removed pastry), nuts and rolittos. The latter have made it home and may become dinner, or tomorrow’s lunch.
Just found it on the Ocado website - 906g! So perhaps 2 meals would be more realistic. However I’ve spotted ginger and coriander on the ingredients list, both of which I detest. It's bigger than it looks!

I'm glad my BGs are going down too (although I'm missing my coconut bars).
My nightmare party was a fancy dress one. The youngest was about 4 and dressed as an Oompa-Loompa complete with make-up, wig, the lot. Elder was Charlie of Chocolate factory fame. Charlie came dashing in to inform us loudly that the Oompa Loompa had removed all his clothes and was on the bouncy castle! Turned up he'd stripped to his pants but an orange face, almost naked child was still a sight to beholdView attachment 56904

Changed my mind and am now eating two slices of thick English bacon (so different from Dutch bacon) with two pickled eggs (yes, I like them!) with salt, pepper and some mayo.Arrived back home almost two hours ago after a long day of travelling, with a cold and diabetes misbehaving, especially after the beer with my neighbour.
Hungry but too tired to decide on something to eat, so I guess it'll be pork scratchings and chocolate in bed.
