What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Try reducing your 1/2 teaspoon gradually. That was the route I took and, as I said, I ended up with 6 grains of sugar on the tip of the spoon. It was so silly I eventually just stopped.
When I gave up coffee in order to try a carnivore diet for a few months last year, I made my coffee weaker and weaker until it was worse to drink it than not! Gradual and consistent for the win.
 
Coffee.
Early: Sardines w lemon juice and olive oil, whole avocado w lemon juice and salt, pork rinds,
Later: Brisket is in the oven now for a long, slow cook so I'll have a good serving of that later with some salad.
 
Bacon and eggs, two slices of toast and vegimite for breakfast.
Sand crab meat, mixed salad, half a KP mango and small amount L/L sorbet for lunch.
Blue cheese on pepper crackers for supper snacks at six.

Glass of single malt before bed.
 
2x boiled eggs at 10am
Lunch was a dinner today, some ham ,cabbage and few carrots at 1330hrs .
1800 I had 2x mackerel fillets ,cheese and some salami.
3 x coffes ,2 with double cream ..1x square dark chocolate. Throughout the day . Plenty of water
 
B-3 soft boiled eggs and a knob of butter.
L- 3 small air fried chicken thighs and h/m mayo mixed with Nando’s peri peri sauce.
D- bacon, halloumi and a couple of fried eggs on abed of spinach. 1 glass wine, lots of water I suspect for the rest of the evening - that was quite a salty meal.

@RosemaryJackson I do hope things start to look up for you soon. Stress and illness will both put your BG up so maybe your meal wasn’t entirely to blame. Perhaps getting out and being in good company at the pensioners lunch could actually help?
 
Skipped breakfast as have exercise class 10 on Mondays, then coffee (herbal tea for me) with friends after.
L: leftover mince leek mix with extra cheese. Ff greek with half a pear and walnuts
D: both hubby and I seemed incredibly hungry early so ditched the planned frittata for bolognaise type mince on a bed of quinoa (only 2 tablespoons for me) with green beans and carrots on the side, all topped with crispy kale.
Very tasty. Small coffee icecream.
 
Mashed avocado on wholemeal toast about 12.30.
Flash fried salmon fillet with some mayo. Was intending to have it with cucumber, but it had gone soft, so just had another slice of the bread and butter. Edit: that was much later - about 6 pm.
Despite the bread, BG has been pretty reasonable. The home made wholemeal bread doesn't seem to trigger a spike for some reason.

Sunday 13 November bed 8.9 FBG 8.7. Legs still jumpy and BGs still higher than normal. Libre gave me a 14.6!!! later today but thankfully it was a rogue reading. The actual still wasn't great at 11.2. Something is still amiss as I am still having still dizzy spells. I must find my BP monitor.

B. TAG and 2 slices of SLC toast with pate.

L. After grandson's swimming lesson (was exhausting just watching them do butterfly!) Some vegetable crisps.

D. Campari and soda. Thin rib eye with cauliflower cheese and mixed greens.

Trying to get as much as possible done for Christmas so present and food ordering is underway.

Have you checked your temperature? I had some dizzy spells for a week after a nasty cold recently, with stubborn BG's. Finally I realised it's how I feel when having a fever, except I didn't feel feverish. Checked, 38.5, so that explained both the dizzy spells and the stubborn BG.
Went away by itself, thankfully, although I'm weird in rather enjoying that odd fuzzy dizzy feeling.
 
Breakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries washed down with a black coffee.
Late morning: black coffee and a phd bar.
Skipped lunch.
Mid afternoon: coffee shop cappuccino and a carb killa bar.
Dinner: liver in onion gravy with Brussels and broccoli followed by SF cherry jelly and cream.

 
It's Sunday... Treated myself to 2 slices of baguette fried in olive oil, 1 fried tomato and 4 rashers... Turned out not my best idea..BG jumped from 5.1 to 7.7 after 1.75 hours!!! Wont do that again!
Lunch skipped.
Dinner.. Ate at a friend's so all bad news, nibbles, guinea fowl stew with mashed potato and parsnips, cheese board, chocolates, a few glasses of wine and a scotch.. But BG was not too bad before bed..Around 5.0.
