B: coffeencream
L: chicken breast in tomato and GARLIC with green salad
D: baked salmon. was going to do veg with it, but ran out of steam

and at some point there were 2 squares 70%

B: boiled eggs, coffee with almond milk
L: tomato soup (should've eaten more!)
D: chicken tarragon from Waitrose as lazy, fresh asparagus. Low carb biscuits, Brie and St Agur. 2 glasses of red wine.

So a good control day for me :)

Your scotch egg sound delish.:)
Yes, they were good, but my food processor couldn't grind the pork scratchings up finely enough really, so you had to take care, or over-enthusiastic chomping could cause you to lose a tooth LOL!
(Over-enthusiastic chomping has long been a failing of mine I'm afraid. I get very excited in the presence of something yummy and have bitten my tongue so often it's a miracle I still have one!)

Just wondering, Brunneria - is it a bit of a vampire hotspot where you live?
;) xx

I've never tried spinach before today (inspired by your breakfast). It was VERY watery. Would you mind giving me some tips/ideas on how you cook it?

I eat my spinach raw, just give it a wash first.

One can never be too prepared... ;)

A few weeks ago, we came across some giant garlic (think grapefruit size), which we roasted , along with the Sunday roast. It was fabulous and created a giant force-field around us. :)

Tea yesterday: Pan-fried salmon with avocado butter, sugarsnap peas and courgettini, strawbs and greek yoghurt

B: Greek Yoghurt with a few strawbs, sunflower seeds, chia and walnuts
mid-morning snack, small packet of pork scratchings
L: Salad with prawn cocktail

Feeling rough today :depressed:

Yes, it will thicken up in the fridge overnight... :) I don't recommend you eat all of it in one go - you will be... um... how can I put this?... jet-propelled! I usually find a couple of dessert spoonfuls is enough. x

B: coffeencream
L: marmite cashews. To excess.
D: low carb chicken tikka masala, caulirice.

No green. :(
Tomorrow with be very green

Ooh I bought marmite cashews today, going to put a few in a bowl. If I ate them out of the bag I would eat the whole lot.

The bowl doesn't help.
You just go back to the kitchen, unseal the bag and put the rest in the bowl.
Accept the inevitable, and dump the whole bag in at the start.

Next time, I won't even open the bag when I am alone in the house.
Will only have them when Mr B is there to eat 2/3rds

You see? I CAN learn.
Slowly.

That's what I thought, it's very rich looking and it looks like it will be cloyey? In your mouth. I didn't put my coyo in mine as I like the flavour of that on its own ( with probably the rhubarb). And at £3.50 a pot, it's not something I can afford to waste, and I only get one every fortnight. :woot:
