What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Hello
B. Slice of ham and small piece of feta cheese

L. Camambert with walnuts

1 hours swimming

D. Roast pork loin, carrots, onions, cabbage and gravy. Strawberries and yoghurt:)

I will definetly be having a pomegranate pot as both gardeners world and Masterchef are on.

Is it possible you have a bug coming on? My BG always 'tells' me of the impending arrival of a bug before it hits.

Possibly - although no sign of anything today. My back has been bad the last few days and I have taken more co-codamol but I don't think they affect my BG. It's been a bit better today so praying it has sorted itself out.

Egg bacon and mushrooms
Lidl feta salad (didn't eat all so a few olives left for a snack later tonight)
Keema mutta plus cauli rice

I thought DP was in overdrive yesterday, but surpassed today with a rise from 6.6 on waking to 8.8 pre-breakfast, despite a couple of teaspoons of double cream to try and ward off a rise. Finally down to 5.3 before dinner.

Pre-breakfast - couple of teaspoons of double cream

Breakfast - 2 boiled eggs

Lunch - salad (baby spinach, rocket, baby plum tomatoes, radish) with salami and cheese

Dinner - sea bass fillet fried in butter with lemon juice and parsley, sautéed courgette and onion, broccoli. Dessert of sugar free jelly and cream

Couldn't sleep - up at 4.30 with 8.2 FBG....!!! It really is like a barometer of how I'm feeling every day (knees and hip kept me awake.)

Breakfast: Boiled egg and half a buttered Lidl protein roll soldiers, creamy coffee
Lunch: The other half of the Lidl protein roll with egg mayo
Dinner: Mr C is cooking (as he usually does on Saturdays) - its going to be griddled steak with halloumi topped spiced aubergine and salad plus some spicy baked chicken wings that he's seen a recipe for somewhere.

He decides what he wants to cook, tells me which ingredients to get and (hopefully) I get a nice surprise - apart from the huge amount of washing up he generates when he cooks..

Cheese omelette and mushrooms
Fathead pizza plus salad

Off to a ceildah early evening (my personal form of torture as my back gets worse if whirled around so I have to sit and watch)

There will be a buffet and subtle enquiries suggest bread buns and sausage rolls etc - couple of baby bel cheeses in the handbag methinks.

I'm driving so no red wine as consolation ...

Woken at 6.35 with FBG of 8.6 so feeling a bit ranty this morning

ROFLMAO - I totally miss-read your last sentence. My brain substituted a D for that T.

Never in the morning! :-P

Not awake until 10am even if upright and moving around - when our church has its annual camping weekend folks know not to talk to me until I am on my second (large) cafetière of Hot Lava Java (strength 6) coffee - I may even be persuaded to share the coffee by that time!

One for @mo53

Bed on 6.9 FBG 7.1 then I hit a shocking 9.6 pre breakfast. I was dotting about for a bit getting swimming stuff ready but no idea why it went that high. Came down of course but then I had another unexplained peak of 8.3 while I was out shopping. Again came down quite rapidly and has been fine since.
