What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Well , my 24 hr fasts continue and BGs really seem to be sorting themselves out. Bed last night on 4.2 (Libre was a bit upset as it was scanning at 2.8 but I knew I wasn't that low. The jab confirmed it). I dipped during the night but it came back to FBG 4.7. Then DP kicked in but only to 6.6 before it turned. Today was aqua/swimming/water running day so BGs have been pretty low all day.
B. Nothing
L. Nothing
Got through 5 pints of water though.
D. I am stuffed!
M&S Hake fillet with Harissa & Roquito peppers, biancoli (cauli that looks like broccoli but it's white), and Hubby shredded and steamed a quarter of a cabbage - no way I could finish it. Way too much food. 3 baby beets.

I don't think I can move and MFP will have a fit at today's intake so I'll have to invent something or it will have me anorexic and bulimic! First cabbage since cabbagegate on the Diet Doctor challenge - @Chook & @Brunneria will remember that well.

Great progress with the blood sugars.

I'm keeping a close eye on them. My meds had been reduced previously and if this keeps up I think it may be time for another review. I'm still jabbing at bed time, first thing and again when Libre shows the DP starting to drop. Only other time I check is if I get a weird reading I.e down in the 2's! Low 4's are great though.

I made peanut butter cookies and gave them all away. Like blue cheese , peanut butter is a thing I think I should like, I really don't like but I keep on trying it just to make sure I really don't like it. Having said that I don't like any nut butters. Probably goes back to my aversion to nuts that have had anything done to them.

Well my good BGs continue. Bed on 4.6 FBG 4.7 and the DP turned at 5.5 this morning. Going out shortly to shop for tomorrow's dinner and I'm going to have a slice of toast before I go - so only 16 hrs on today's fast. Feeling really hungry when I got up and water isn't doing it for me. Cabbage must have worn off! I'm still getting the red line dips overnight on the Libre reading into the 2's but not a shock now. Sensor due to be changed tomorrow anyway. Note to self though - always remember when you have eaten beetroot to avoid a toilet visit shock.
B/L slice of Hovis lower carb seeded with M&S reduced fat egg mayonnaise and 4 M&S Tre colori pomodori (best wee tomatoes I've tasted). Tassimo Americano Grande with a dash of cream
D. I think with be air fried chicken thighs with the remains of the biancoli and spinach.

Got all our clothes ready for going away next week for the annual gathering with my former work mates & spouses. If hubby goes near them I may have to remove his hands.

Edited - the clothes that is - not my former workmates and spouses

For dinner yesterday I had salmon with lemon and low sodium soya sauce, rice, asparagus with cream cheese, and a small salad with Italian dressing. For dessert I had a small container of unsweetened apple sauce and a cup of tea with milk.

Going to Wagamama later. First time since type 1. Tend to go for veggie and maybe the veggie Katsui curry. What to people think as I've looked at the carbs and that would be 15 units of novarapid on its own.
