I get my Hubby to peel and slice. I wished it on my son once when we were going to their house and was told never to ask him to cook it again!Whoops - didn’t mean to send those then!
Was intending to add that I too hate peeling and slicing celeriac, but it’s easier than swede!
Hi all hope everyone had a good day. Puppy minding went well getting very fond of him -
another day tomorrow.
Breakfast one slice of low carb bread and boiled egg with black coffee with inulin
Lunch cold boiled egg with some nuts and one slice low carb lemon drizzle cake
Afternoon two pots of green tea brewed with loose green tea leaves and added sprigs of mint from garden - preferred it to plain green tea
Dinner chicken salad with celeriac chips followed by one home grown strawberry with sugar free jelly and two teaspoons single cream plus one small glass of red wine (trying daily small glass heard it can help cholesterol!)
Everyone had one each we are good sharers here! More to ripen though it’s a good year for strawberries and raspberries look promising too for later in season. One home grown strawberry? I bet it was delicious, better than a whole punnet from the supermarket.

@DJC3 Hope the blood tests are everything you deserve and the menu sounds very tasty. The fasting is more of a "can't be any worse" ploy than an attempt at anything in particular. As they say, ee I am vexed. I forgot to say earlier the bone broth from my instant pot was rather spiffing.Hope the fasting brings you the desired results @ianpspurs

Fantastic result, well done I am truly pleased for you. I still haven’t dared to look at my results even though they are just a click awayEvening everyone.
Still rejoicing re latest HbA1c result: 39 ( sorry if you’ve already seen this in my fasting glucose post, but feeling too chuffed to shut up about it yet)
I’m happy with it coming down fairly slowly as I think Ive found a regime that works for me and I don’t mind if it takes a bit longer this way.
I struggle with fasting which would probably see numbers falling quicker, plus I don’t want to lose weight (I’m 55kg) so I think Ive found a happy medium, I’m enjoying life!
Thanks to everyone on this thread in particular who have inspired and advised.
Todays grub...

Wow @DJC3 how well done is that so pleasedfor you especially as you’ve been concerned over some higher figures - told you “it would come out in the wash” and it has - your steady LCHF eating is clearly working. A well earnt good result and as you say it will keep steadily reducing. Your happy medium too is perfect I love that you’re enjoying life too - that’s the most important thing. Your menus too always look delish. Celebrate your well earnt result well done again and please accept a well done hug from me XxxEvening everyone.
