What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Fantastic result, well done I am truly pleased for you. I still haven’t dared to look at my results even though they are just a click away
Thinking of you @jayney27 are you waiting till Friday for your appointment or aren’t you sure? Worse than exam results I think! Big hug from me and sure our family’s puppy would give you a lick and a cuddle too! When we take him out it takes ages to get anywhere as everyone wants to cuddle and fuss him he’s so tiny and looks like a teddy bear!

@DJC3 You are quite entitled to be rejoicing and congratulations on finding a regime that works for you. As @shelley262 says your menus always look really good. All in all your experience perfectly fits the description of a different lifestyle not a diet.

@DJC3 adding more congratulations here! Don’t stop talking about it - are you going to post in the successes thread?

thank you @shelley262 i am trying to hang on til Friday, silly I know, after bothering to register for online results and now not daring to study them!
I can imagine that everyone stops you to cuddle that lovely fur baby, he really is a cutie, enjoy him while you can and good luck with your presentations and other engagements, I hope you manage to avoid the cake, if that is what you want to do of course, if not have a slice and enjoy the celebrations.

Thank you again. Maybe when I get down to mid 30s. I’m happy enough with my result but not sure I feel successful enough to make a separate post about it yet.

Thanks, I completely understand your angst, it really is like waiting for exam results isn’t it.
To be honest I wasn’t really expecting them to be there when I clicked on the page. I only had the blood taken that morning!
Fingers crossed for you on Fri but Ive no doubt you will have a fine result x

Well done @DJC3 , welcome to the 30s club
Breakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries and cream washed down with a black coffee.
Lunch at Prèt with my daughter: crayfish and avocado salad followed by chocolate coconut bite with Diet Coke.
Dinner: chicken supreme, carrot and swede mash and peas followed by low carb baked egg custard and SF maple syrup.

Many thanks Shelley, Ive picked your brains countless times though over recipes and general low carbness and you are always so supportive.
Could I have a hug from your gorgeous puppy too please? I wouldn’t be able to resist if I saw him out walking.

Thank you for the vote of confidence, not long until I know my numbers, unless I crumble before Friday and look

Of course you can and a big lick too he’s very generous with those but as he’s so tiny they are not really huge licks!

@DJC3 do remember you’re a star you’ve made amazing progress and remain so positive my support was merely that it’s you who did the work. New avatar btw shows size of family puppy.

Ladies I am very tempted, shall I be brave and look?

To quote Mrs Doyle on Father Ted...Ahh go on. Go on, go on, go on, go on.

Yes in other words, I’m positive you’ll have a pleasant surprise, you’ve been doing so well.
