I give it a little griddle for wraps like this. Might be psychological but the chargrill lines help (and gallons of mayo).Lunch today is the latest in my series of 'what lo-dough is really good for' - a really messy, overstuffed BLT!
Because lo-dough has a spongy texture it's best if it's moistened with something (like gallons of real mayo) and it was just lovely. I also know I won't be hungry in an hours time because it's so fillingView attachment 28447
@maglil55 Argentinian steak house - Yum
.
Almost any man I know but it would limit the main course optionsI Who on earth can eat a 14 oz rib eye???.
I agree about size to buy, I have done the same recently, I think it takes seeing a photo for the loss to register.Hi ziggy - I've just updated. I had a self inflicted jump but as it was alcohol inflicted I've returned to normal.
I know what you mean about clothes. I was picking up some bits and bobs and bought my "usual" size only to have to take them back and drop 2 sizes. My mind still didn't see myself as thinner even although I know I've lost a fair bit weight. I think the trouble is I still have a bit to go so it doesn't register. As least it didn't until we were out on Friday.
I usually avoid photos but there was one taken with Hubby and sister in law and that's when it dawned I am a lot thinner - Still a bit to go but its the first time I've been conscious of the difference. Still at least I can invest in some smaller clothes now!
Mine couldn't ! Which is why I find it objectionable that he calls me a woose.Almost any man I know but it would limit the main course options
Not 'aid'!!! I meant help with the management ofEvening all, hope you enjoyed the weekend
Breakfast - two slices Hi-Lo bread with 'teethmark' butter
Lunch - Five rollitos with salad. Strawberries and extra thick double cream
Dinner - Roast garlic chicken, roasted med veg and a small corn on the cob. 25gm mini bar of 85% chocolate.
Supper - Still having a think...
Bought the rollitos on Saturday as @Goonergal kept mentioning them. They are awesome, so thanks for the inspiration. Can see me living on these!
Going to try making the Hemsley & Hemsley banana bread tomorrow, substituting the maple syrup with erythritol. Read conflicting things about bananas, a few stating they aid diabetes but they are obviously very sugary. Any ideas??
Sorry to be bearer of bad news but bananas not a good idea!they have 23g of carb per 100g so would be difficult to include-in a low carb day. I tend like many who stay low carb to stick to just a few berries at the most ideally with cream! Think they only aid the development of diabetes I used to eat one a day plus orange juice one of main reasons I ended up with a hbaca1 of 97!Evening all, hope you enjoyed the weekend

How much monkfruit sweetener did you use @Goonergal ? I may need to try it it’s been in my shopping basket a few times but never got to checkout!Well, the monkfruit has it. Thanks @maglil55
Latest attempt at caramel successful and much improved CCBs (yesterday’s have been consigned to the bin after today’s tasting confirmed they were terrible). New ones are so rich I’ve had to chop them in half. Would thicken the caramel a bit more next time.
Second batch of chocolate almond squares yielded 25 pieces vs yesterday’s 15. Same ingredients, same quantities, same baking tray. Also much saltier....
@ianpspurs ended up very hot here. Mild enough for me to venture to the swimming pool in flip flops at 8am, warm enough for shorts and t-shirt for Waitrose visit and full on hot and sunny for post lunch walk.

Super duper thanks for this I may get some but also use some inulin with the flaxseed a la @ianpspurs maybe 100g flaxseed and 20 of inulin will give it a spin thank youHi. I used 60g to 120g butter. Was using 100g of Lindt 90% and 50g of 85% chocolate from the US, so mindful of sweetness. Just about perfect. Used 120g flaxseed (might even go down to 100g next time), 80ml double cream and added some chopped almonds and macadamias.
